  • Pros

  • Good workflow, Still to mature into a robust tool with better ui capabilities + performance monitoring and debugging capabilities.
  • Great experience using the product very intuitive and powerful. Like the product roadmap and where the product is headed in the future.
  • Overall very good & exciting to use Appian for all BPM needs & automate the complex processes with good user experience.
  • Cons

  • Frequent updates can be annoying. Lack of documentation is a huge problem since you cant just google for answers.
  • There is no case management designer and I think it s missing when you work with business.
  • Inability to customize set features in platform.

  • The real-time notifications feature is excellent. It allows me to stay on top of important changes to my apps and respond immediately when needed.
  • It's super simple to connect services up to get notifications about when something happens. It also allows you to do fun things like use philips hue lightbulbs to alert you when something happens.
  • It's super easy to use, their customer support is great, and it integrates with pretty much every platform we need. We've been able to sep up automations for everything, great filter system as well.
  • Cons

  • Sometimes it's still a little hard to fix an error when a zap reports a problem because it's not 100% clear what the error is.
  • I hate that you have to rebuild a step in order to change things around when needed.
  • Customer service is awful. The site is glitchy at times.
