Pros/Cons
Pros
- What I like most about this software is that it is very intuitive, user-friendly and there are lots of opportunities to integrate to or from other applications.
- The implementation experience was excellent. The support is also very good, we were able to adapt the product to our needs quickly.
- It is a fantastic tool to have all my production online and to manage all the files in an easy and organized way.
Cons
- Another disadvantage is that you cannot "upgrade" your licenses. At the launchwe bought some basic licenses and, after some testing, we concluded that these were too limited for us.
- Direct integration with Digital Ocean is missing although there already is integration with Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services.
- Lack of access management, user and password with expiration.
Pros
- A great and easy to use product that integrates seamlessly into windows. I enjoyed using it to quickly share files.
- Sharepoint does a good job of sharing content within and between teams by using Sharepoint as an intranet. Sharepoint has good version control for documents which can be useful.
- We have used this program for years - we started using it when we moved to a paperless company. This has great storage capacity - and the ease of finding documents is great.
Cons
- The search feature does not work too well and we find it odd that you have to open a text file and then open it again to edit it.
- Inability to drag and drop. At times only option is to download or upload files on to SharePoint.
- We need to depend on Microsoft support team for troubleshooting issues by providing the correlation id of the issues. The 5000 row limit of the List is the most annoying limitation of the SharePoint.
