Pros/Cons
Pros
- We have received really great feedback from our Members and feel that it adds a great avenue to compile lots of information in one spot and in appealing formats and templates.
- We loved the ease of use and the great customer service on the platform as well as how easy and secure the payment portal was.
- The overall value for money of this software is good and the help/support has been excellent. Queries are dealt with quickly and with clear results.
Cons
- Our existing newsletter is out dated and boring, plus some users were having trouble viewing or printing it. Flipsnack fixed that problem quickly and relatively easily.
- The flashing targets (from a marketing perspective) can ruin an entire look and feel of a layout. If you made invisible areas we could direct readers to click on products.
- I find the editor clunky and less than intuitive. Simply trying to add a line of text and a link is confusing.
Pros
- I really like it... it helps save a ton of time and calculating.
- Easy to move through the program, good that is internet based. Easy to pull the standard reports.
- It is a great time saver, and makes doing certain types of estimates possible. Estimates are more complete and accurate.
Cons
- Non traditional shapes can't be represented, dotted lines for scores and perfs. I could do more with an excel spreadsheet to represent pocket folders and die cut shapes in less time.
- It does a terrible job of communicating special colors through the XML.
- Each upgrade seems to break our workflow and is painful to get what we consider common sense addressed.
