Pros/Cons
Pros
- User friendly interface, fast report creating capabilities, amazing ease of use, all in one tool and so far the best forecasting and budgeting tools I have seen.
- In addition, the customer support is exceptional. I have had wonderful experiences with our rep. He is remarkable in how he explains things and his patience.
- We managed to produce our reporting more quickly, we have improved the quality of our planning and we will now dedicated new developments to increase our productivity.
Cons
- Export into Excel destroys the whole formatting.
- Dataview limitations on number of rows. Lack of time out on infinite sessions.
- Our initial project with BOARD was through a reseller and it was a difficult start for the product.
Pros
- A good and steady data model creation is possible with looker. Other than that I loved that feature of dashboard customisation according to our needs and it's interference is also awesome.
- They are flexible and easy to reach. The chat feature in the product is awesome, as it quickly connects you to a Customer Success rep who can help you with pretty much anything.
- I love how power Looker is and their customer service is above and beyond. They've been super helpful with everything.
Cons
- I think it should look for syntax errors at an earlier stage. Customizing the column names is done the wrong way - you can't edit the current name, you need to retype it (why? such a silly feature).
- I dislike for how long it takes given that it never ever truly caches the information. I need to truly make certain the questions I compose or the concerns I ask are really restricted as an outcome.
- Maybe in the future, I'll have more time to learn but it is not a signup and use right away tool, it requires training and lots of it.
