Pros/Cons
Pros
- Great inventory management, easy to add products using purchase orders, syncs with Quickbooks, love the ability to offer credit accounts, great reports.
- I love the inventory tracking from anywhere, the ease of entering and pricing my inventory, and the setup process and new POS - basically I love EVERYTHING.
- Lightspeed has outstanding customer service. I love that if I call and there is "waiting line" to be helped, I can put my number in the queue and they will call me back.
Cons
- I have since disputed the charges on my credit card because I feel that is the only way I'm going to recoup my money. My next step is that I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
- The only negative would be, I live in Newfoundland, we have lots of storms and the power goes out frequently. I do sometimes have to call after outages to sync my ipad with my receipt printer.
- Our experience with Lightspeed is single handedly the worst experience we have ever had with any vendor, rep, or supplier.
Pros
- It makes purchasing items from businesses and boutiques easy. I love that most booths at farmers markets have square for retail and it works awesome.
- I like how easy it is to create a great looking online storefront. Clean and simple design options, easy to add/delete items, keep track of inventory, and an endless list of benefits.
- At the end of the day, this shows a dollar amount for each seller. It's amazing and a small business godsend.
Cons
- I had to sit with my bank to file a dispute with Square, put a hold on all charges by Square, and start using an entirely different payment processor just to avoid Square stealing my money.
- A client purchased multiple packages totally thousands of dollars from my company, received the services, and then disputed the charges as 'unrecognized. I provided the following to square.
- Square permits fraudulent chargebacks against your company.
