Pros/Cons
Pros
- Great inventory management, easy to add products using purchase orders, syncs with Quickbooks, love the ability to offer credit accounts, great reports.
- I love the inventory tracking from anywhere, the ease of entering and pricing my inventory, and the setup process and new POS - basically I love EVERYTHING.
- Lightspeed has outstanding customer service. I love that if I call and there is "waiting line" to be helped, I can put my number in the queue and they will call me back.
Cons
- I have since disputed the charges on my credit card because I feel that is the only way I'm going to recoup my money. My next step is that I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.
- The only negative would be, I live in Newfoundland, we have lots of storms and the power goes out frequently. I do sometimes have to call after outages to sync my ipad with my receipt printer.
- Our experience with Lightspeed is single handedly the worst experience we have ever had with any vendor, rep, or supplier.
Pros
- Overall, the experience has been very good. Implementation was easy and the support was excellent.
- In the beginning support was good and they really seem to care about helping your business grow. Now they want to add stuff that I don't need and keep raising the price.
- M very happy overall and customer service/support are very good - the tech folks are knowledgeable, patient and kind.
Cons
- Label printing is terrible. No dimension option for shipping calculations.
- The trainings were unnecessary and could have easily been done with a video. I really, really, really hate the website builder.
- I've had at least 2-3 calls to different technicians ag in a row where I just felt bad for even calling.
