Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • The price is what it should be for accounting software. Excellent Support, I used the support two times and was very impressed with the customer service.
  • The ease of the reporting and categorizing the expenses is very easy to do. The resultant reports for tax purposes is great.
  • If you are looking for something to manage your personal finances, Quicken is a good choice. You can use as few or as many of the features as you are comfortable with to begin.
  • Cons

  • I hate them but as my title suggests; I put up with them because there is no other product that does what it does as well.
  • I have used Quicken for many years and what I dislike the most is that I can no longer purchase the software outright, without Intuit having their claws into my wallet.
  • The reporting function sometimes is a little clunky and hard to apply filters. Speed of the software is somewhat sluggish, the PC i have is relatively new with quad-core processing.

  • Pros

  • If you run a small business or are self-employed, this is great to have. If you're like me and not great with spreadsheets, then this is what you need.
  • I benefited from him and gained some experiences from him in my field and I liked it in ease of work reports.
  • I would recommend it for those who want a simple and effective way to keep records clean and send invoices to clients. Customer support is amazing.
  • Cons

  • Reconciling is miserable. I could go on and on, but I hate to relive the QB years where I felt inept and incapable of running the backside of our business.
  • The only problem with Virtual programs is the internet delays and the problems with making sure you can sync everything if two people have been working on it.
  • I HATE that I cannot simply download my QBO data into TurboTax. It makes no sense at all that I can't download Intuit data to another Intuit product.
