Pros/Cons
Pros
- The auto reminders and calendaring are super helpful. The seamless integration with online giving was also a blessing.
- I love the user-defined fields so we can track anything we want. I love how easy it is to do a query, and I love the flexibility of the reports.
- There are other good systems out there, but I have always found that eTapestry provides the "GREAT." Great product, great service at a great price.
Cons
- But then we were tied to a 2-year contract and I hated it so much we switch to another platform and I still needed to pay for it. It was quite frustrating.
- When they fail at communication and project management they blame the client and make you feel as if you are the "client from HELL.
- I didn't realize that I was tied into a 2-year contract and even though I hated the product and stopped using it they continued to charge me for the next 18 months until the contract period ended.
Pros
- We love the ease of donating, the monthly donation option and the way the receipts include any message written by the donor.
- My experience from start to finish has been awesome. From the sales pitch, customized to me and my organization... to the implementation and assistance from the outstanding customer service team.
- I love how easy it is to embed the donation code into your website and how sleek it looks. It's very easy to customize it.
Cons
- Setting Up Campaigns, Impacts, Etc. Can Be A Little Confusing.
- The inability to customize a lot of preset fields. For example, you can't add a drop-down field on tickets in events.
- We have tried very hard to be more informative about it. We're still working on raising the number of people that use it, so it costs us nothing monthly and we don't spend more than we are receiving.
