  • Pros

  • The best thing about Pendo is that it does a great job of tracking how the users are using the product and gives valuable insights. The interface is nice and clean.
  • The onboarding process has been good, and my new success manager has been helpful. Helped me get more insight then I got with google analytics to aid in data-driven decision making.
  • This is great specifically for customer-facing & product teams to help in various ways to improve things.
  • Cons

  • It costs more to maintain and install than free analytical tools. Poll and use data refresh can be delayed, making it hard to tell if the poll is broken or just delayed.
  • Performance issues on web based portal. Missing notification features.
  • It's is quite buggy at times. Sometimes hard to navigate for what your trying to do.

  • The customer support is always there to help and even I have had the need to do a video call with them and went great. Lot of patience and very careful to satisfy our needs.
  • I am totally happy with the experience with Amplitude. The tool is fantastic and has so many functionalities that make the growth analysis simply great.
  • Offers a very generous free tier. I liked the Behavioural Cohorts as it offer key insights that help you understand exactly which are your best users and what makes them stick around.
  • Cons

  • Like all data analytics tools, you can go horribly wrong if. You have the wrong events instrumented.
  • The program is a little confusing to start using.
  • When I started using Amplitude a couple of years ago it was simpler to organize the data how I wanted but now a days I frequently find myself lost after coming back to check app every couple of weeks.
