If one of the team members was unavailable, the assessment remained frozen until we resumed it. - This makes it more difficult to trend problem areas related to particular machines over time; I have had to go through cases to determine the particular equipment’s failures. - Predictive data can be sometimes too "caution". Our ops managers are able to access the system from their mobile devices while in the field. This allows them to maintain oversight while documenting safety issues. #### Cons A video tutorial & slide presentation on how to use each module would be invaluable for training purposes. Finding useful information is very difficult. Categories are not aligned with industry required reference points or elements and trying to create statistics from the information stored is often futile. Arbitrary data entry with no way to edit later creates problems. #### Reasons for choosing EHS Insight We did not choose EHS - it was in place and part of an acquisition - problems were noted from the start of integration. We were made aware of the origin of this platform and have struggled to gain performance from it ever since. The customer support is beyond great, you get a confirmation email of your submitted request within a couple hours and normally I have a customer support representative reaching out with in 48 hours asking for more information so they can support my needs. Being able to manipulate forms, reports and setting up my dashboard to fit my needs is extremely helpful. The SDS module is built very well, with the one exception, when using the anonymous QR code it does not have a search feature you must scroll through all SDS's alphabetically. Our prior system had us getting back sign in sheets and manually entering them into a 3rd party system. #### Cons The sales reps will tell you that you can watch video tutorials and read instructions in order to build your audit forms and inspection forms. There are lots of fine tuning options that you may want to use, that are not covered in the How To videos, or on the support site, so you end up emailing a question to support and waiting for a response. After trying to build it ourselves, for 90 days, we ended up paying for the Premium level of support that lets you get faster answers and then support can help you troubleshoot imports and/or customize your site if necessary. An improvement to our previous processes in very way. More efficient - more effective. The training management and online training options are mazing and well worth the money. #### Cons EHS is always seeking to improve and the submittal process for making recommendations is simple. I would like to see some more connectability between some of the modules and some greater level of end user customization within the work observation module, but this is a top-notch product for the money. #### Reasons for choosing EHS Insight Velocity and Hammertech were very high functioning choices and close seconds. In the end we felt EHS Insights satisfied our specific needs, but those other choices were also top contenders. Intelex was also very good, but EHS Insights met our needs for a much lower cost. Being able to test out the system really helped me feel comfortable with our choice to use EHS Insight. I came to the table with a list of must haves. EHS is the most user friendly software I have ever used. I had the site up and running in less then a week. In that time we were able to increase the EHS focus by allowing our employees to immediately report all safety and environmental incidents. They are tracked and automatically sent to the concerned party for action. Response and accountability increased 66%. Another option we took advantage of was to create audit check sheets. Audit compliance increased as they could use the phone app to conduct the audit in real time. #### Cons The number of notifications that our management received was high for each incident reported. This took some time to understand how to limit the notifications for each step of the process. #### Reasons for choosing EHS Insight Usability and cost. Unfortunately we were mislead into believing their training was OSHA standard. #### Reasons for choosing EHS Insight I did not make the decision to go with EHS insight.
