Pros/Cons
Pros
- I like its reliability and scalability. Significantly, I like its ability to offer a wide range of services ranging from storage, security, and networking.
- The Software is excellent, fulfills what it promises, has a good return on customer service, leaves nothing to be desired. Very satisfied with everything the software offers.
- Its a quality product with great documentation and functionalities. Love the free tear that lets you play with all the amazing tools to discover possibilities.
Cons
- Sometimes the security system finds suspicious activity on the server. Alarms always turn out to be false, but it is impossible to use the platform during such failures.
- What I lean toward least about this product is that occasionally records are frequently incidentally lost. It can turn out to be extremely hard to search out some of my archives.
- What I dislike is that there are some features which are not available and that's what make it unfeasible. Plus, the billing options are not front and center.
Pros
- One touch recovery is the best feature in it. Best for the replication, Admin Console Dashboard is Good.
- Metallic's support and success teams are receptive and helpful. We have been Commvault customers for many years and their support team has always impressed us.
- The density of the solution is amazing, we have almost 1 PB in 6 RU, storage and compute. It scales very easily and management of the platform is just as easy as legacy media agents.
Cons
- Deployment is hard, Troubleshooting on the errors are very hard.
- Some setups are difficult to configure without support; it gets a bit complicated when configuring and troubleshooting all the settings.
- Documentation is somewhat limited. IP filtering is not currently an option.
