Octopus is very easy to integrate with other tooling be it through RestAPIs, CLIs, etc. If it can be scripted Octopus can integrate with it.

The ease of use and design is really well done. I also really like the community step template library, people really seem to make good use of it and I get all the benefits.

When creating processes and having errors, it is sometime a bit difficult to debug the pipeline without having to run the full cycle.

For example if i am in variables, maybe some compare functions. Whenever i work with with varaibles, lots of libraries, sometimes it becomes hard.

We have a bunch of different applications and they're not all built the same, so it's nice to feel like there isn't any app we can't deploy with Octopus.

Octopus has been a huge resource for our team. There is so much in the way of customization with this tool, that we haven't even begun to use every functionality.

Feeling confident that I can hit a button and be sure four servers in three different countries on another continent are going to be safely updated is awesome.

I love how easy it is to set up projects and the visibility that this tool offers. I liked it so much that I brought it over to my new organization.

The most difficult part was understanding of how to setup triggers for a automatic deployment to a stage when a new version becomes available.

I have found Octopus Deploy to be a very well thought out and intuitive deployment orchestration system. It is very easy to use and quite simple to get started.

ServiceNow is a mostly a pretty good IT service management system.

It is very flexible, can be integrated into any system for your company. When there's an IT help issue, it is very easy to submit a ServiceNow ticket.

I find it incredibly helpful to be able to track all stages of my work, and don't think I could do my job without it.

Integration with risk management could have been made simpler to show the mapping of technical risks to business risks.

This made managing our help desk easy and our tech were able to work efficiently and effectively.

Capacity Management is still a missing factor in ServiceNow though demand management can be somehow captured through projects.

It replaced vFire which was getting slow and agonizing to work with. Tickets would come in and we would perform the work and move the ticket along and/or close it altogether depending on the job.

Some out-of-box examples really don't match up to any organizations needs and leave you wanting more.

We have yet to be told the advantages of using catalog request vs Incidents. Unwieldy interface that adds significant time to customer service.

In my opinion the system has no major defects.

We maintain all our servers and databases and customers in extended tables from CMDB which helps to maintain our data integrity.

If you are new to service management processes, the plethora of services will leave you confused. Configure one process and explore them in and out before moving into another process.

Its easy to use, highly customizable on the end user end, and stable. I like that I can make my dashboard look how I want it, and use the format that makes the most sense to me.

Can be difficult to set up the dashboard at first due to the complex UI.

For beginners is really hard to get used to it, searching for a person might be a difficult task if you don't know the tool.

I love that this software was customizable and rolled out in a way that helps us sort, apply, escalate and input so many new incidents in easy and understandable fashion.

They have been great in helping us get going as quickly as possible and they offer some things we might also use in the future that will really help continue meeting goals.

The admin on the back end has set up some great workflows that allow a single request to be used to do multiple things.

I like service now because it's very minimal and direct, and time wasn't wasted on designing a pretty interface.

ServiceNow is very good software to handle our daily Change ticket system. It is easy to use and very well organized.

My overall experience with ServiceNow skews negatively because it's not easy to find what I want, the only somewhat saving grace is the built-in favorites you can save for commonly used areas.

From both points of view, this software is great. I love how easy it is to use and how you can see the progression of the ticket being worked.
