The ability to check out files/folders and work off line is great for me when I need to work away from an internet connection.

Correct implementation with over 100 users becomes difficult.

Better management of our data. Team is more productive and efficient.

The support team is what has enhanced my overall experience.

Even then, the updates almost never go straight forward. One personal thing I hate is that 12d Synergy always opens on the same screen/location and it doesn't set to the screen I close it on.

Lack of detailed analytical data available on users, projects accessed etc.

Combined with scaling our team up geographically, the ease that accompanied the installation of the FRS to assist our remote users is refreshing.

Integrated workflows and tasks allow our project managers to keep track of job progress.

Many bugs with V3 crashes due to SQL being full (company IT associated) but still an issue. Lost productivity due to the crashes.

Email filing is fast and efficient, and with 12d Synergy's search function we're able to find what we're looking for without wasting time. Works well hosted in a cloud server.

The ability to manage and collaborate projects designed in 12d Model is not currently possible by any other collaboration package.

The way you can see if your pricing is competitive as it gives your local market info pertaining to labor and correct amount of time required, etc. Gives it for anything I might encounter.

Reports page needs more options. You should be able to put the disclaimer, project disruption etc.

How much faster it is to put accurate estimates together. I also like ability to adjust the labor rates and hourly multiplier for bigger crews.

Standard Sections as reusable components on top of those parts makes it easy to create any estimate from scratch.

One of the cons is that they charged 59 for every  user, they should have a group rate.

I like the way the Remodelmax cost database  is organized with parts grouped into categories and subcategories.

I like the updated price list and integration with quickbooks.

Clear Estimates is a construction estimating system for remodelers and contractors which allows them to create estimates, produce bid requests, draft proposals, manage customers and more. It integrates with QuickBooks and allows users to export project estimates and customer information into the system. It also relies on the RemodelMAX database for material and labor cost information.


While originally intended for remodelers, the system can be customized to meet the needs of most trades, such as, homebuilders, design/build firms, finishing contractors, roofing and siding contractors and other specialty contractors.
