The ability to check out files/folders and work off line is great for me when I need to work away from an internet connection.

Correct implementation with over 100 users becomes difficult.

Better management of our data. Team is more productive and efficient.

The support team is what has enhanced my overall experience.

Even then, the updates almost never go straight forward. One personal thing I hate is that 12d Synergy always opens on the same screen/location and it doesn't set to the screen I close it on.

Lack of detailed analytical data available on users, projects accessed etc.

Combined with scaling our team up geographically, the ease that accompanied the installation of the FRS to assist our remote users is refreshing.

Integrated workflows and tasks allow our project managers to keep track of job progress.

Many bugs with V3 crashes due to SQL being full (company IT associated) but still an issue. Lost productivity due to the crashes.

I have been using 12d Synergy with very large data sets and its speed and stability is excellent. The user interface makes it very clear who has what checked out.

What I like about OST is it’s easy to use you can get the hang of the Badi oh very quickly and it helps you count items onscreen from a pdf plan or TIFF file. Measures distances, counts and areas.

Product is a bit on the pricey side - but is definitely very effective and I would recommend to anyone doing digital take offs.

Very easy to use and like being able to down load the contact information. Also its nice to be able to see every important information about the company.

I been using it for ten years OST Takeoff and Quick bid it seems to work fine but i just  require substantial time to synchronize both products.

Excellent tool for accurate compilation of quantities from pdf's. I highly recommend this to high volume estimators such as myself.

The software has no ability to copy and paste into a document. No real other complaints.

The software is at least a decade out of date when compared to any other industry standard take-off software. Its clunky, non-intuitive, terrible UI and converts any drawings to.

Easy to do simple measurements and counts. The various levels and labels are nice, also being able to change colors makes it easy to differentiate between items.

I liked the ability to organize and derive quantities in different ways. One line item can yield several quantities in different units of measurement.

In QuickBid they easily become buried in the bid and get missed. Adding drawing numbers and names function in OnScreen Takeoff does not work well.

I loved it for being fast but to many  options can slow me down a bit.

If you also pay for QuickBids, it integrates well with that. The tech help service is outstanding.

The flexability of being able to copy pages and do different things that helps me be able to look at different pricing.

My take-offs are clean and easy to understand. My production has more than doubled and the results are better.

But their policy was not to refund although they made a promise that was false showing they value money over principles. Very misleading and I am sickened by the way they do business.

Inability to label linear conditions. Inability to increase the size of the font on condition labels.

The only thing I get frustrated with is the lag with some of the functions.

I have tried other Takeoff software, but this is the best for me. I like this product because it is user friendly and has several built in tools that others may not have.

OST is a very easy to use tool to do take offs with and what we like most about it is. Fast Counts for areas, Linear feet, And counts.

There are a lot of functions in this program and it can be extremely confusing if you do not take the time to learn it properly.

I enjoy the quick and professional technical support. They are always responsive, pleasant and helpful.

Overall, great experience. Saves a lot of time when preparing for estimates/bids.
