AccuLynx is a cloud-based CRM and business management application with iOS and Android apps designed for the roofing, gutter, siding, windows and other exterior construction trades.

Contractors can use AccuLynx to manage every aspect of business including sales pipeline, CRM, projects, production, scheduling, task and activities, communication, estimating, workflows, material ordering and reporting.

AccuLynx provides tools to help users manage jobs from an initial lead to final invoice, ensuring everyone has the most updated information in real time.

The solution offers the ability to order aerial measurement reports and materials, take photos and store documents. Users can access job photos, videos, permits and other collateral necessary to complete the job. Its reporting tools provide information on team performance, status of jobs and financials.

AccuLynx is best suited for small to midsize companies with up to 50 employees that work in specialty trades including residential roofing, siding, masonry and remodeling.

Projects and tasks are no longer falling through the cracks.

Pros

The ability to email without leaving the program. All correspondence automatically tied to the relevant project.

Sending information from the field to the office has never been easier.

Cons

Can feel like it requires an extreme amount of data entry.

Overall a great product

I love that you it has an app and easy to access from your phone

Pros

What I like most about this product is how you can upload and store all your photos for all your jobs. Never lose a photo again!

Cons

It is kinda pricey, having to pay per user. The other thing I don’t care for is that you can not have a picture of an invoice from your phone and add it as a document in the app. I think You have to have a scan app or something.

Review of Acculynx.

it's 85% of what we want. We want it to go to 95% so hopefully you listen to users suggestions.

Pros

It is fairly intuitive for newbees and easy to follow through the job progress. All of the features are good especially in the products catalog except when we want to have options like instead of " pieces" we would like to translate to "SQ" so that we order 12 sq instead of 12 sheets of plywood. This is a huge profit and yes the sales guy needs to pay attention and do the math but the option to switch to SQ would have saves our ass.

Cons

It would be nice to have the pricing automated like it did before Allied sold out. The other desire would be to have a place in the products catalog where we could pre-determine what was coming directly from our stock in the shop so that there would be 2 orders: 1 for supplier for delivery and 1 for the shop guys to load for the job. This would eliminate a ton of time and effort by office staff and shop guys from running around the yard. I also think that when this new reports program comes out it doesn't continually increase our costs every time there is an "improvement" in the program.

Great software essential for biz!

I love the support team and software functionality. Acculynx is necessary to be successful, especially in big business. I’ve been with them for over three years and they’ve helped me reach the “next level” in the industry. I’m so thankful for all the help Acculynx has provided over the years.

Pros

Easy to use and my team’s communication has improved tremendously.

Cons

The software is expensive because as your business grows, the cost increases. My team went from 30 people to 100+ and my overhead has taken a hit. I am willing to pay because I can’t function without it.

Great for Roofers

They do a good job of customer support.

Pros

Has the ability to keep track of everything you will do in regards to a CRM. Lots of insight from users to constantly adjust to needs

Cons

Does not use Outlook for calendaring. Had to switch back to Google to accommodate this. Other than that it is a great program

Fantastic young company

Acculynx made pulling up clients very easy

Pros

Integration with abc supply pricing/ordering, google calendar, and gmail.

Cons

Complexity, there is a large learning curve to really understand acculynx and use it to its fullest extent. There are training videos and live help, but it really needs to be simplified.

Unlimited file storage using Acculynx

Pros

* aside from it's main purpose as project management tool, most efficient feature of AccuLynx is that it has unlimited storage for both documents and photos

Cons

Aside from having a phone call support that they can only offer, i have no other issue using Acculynx software so far.

Pros

The CRM program works well with other apps that are needed when doing our line of work. Has a smooth transition for user friendly process. I would highly recommend to give it a try.

The app only works on the phone not iPad. But will be fixed.

A well-supported roofing-specific CRM that integrates well with Quickbooks

Being able to integrate all our CRM and project management functions into one software that also works with our accounting and time clock programs has been invaluable.

Pros

The fact that it's industry-specific means that the software works well for us without having to adjust our business processes to suit its native workflow. But they really have shined on the customer service side of things. They have always been so friendly and responsive any time we've needed help with anything, especially during the setup phase and when we were working on a 3-way integration with two other 3rd party software programs. AccuLynx has truly streamlined our work and allows us to manage a large number of concurrent contracts with a level of detail and awareness we were unable to achieve before.

Cons

There's a definite learning curve to it. The functionality is robust - it just takes a while to learn what you need to use and what you don't and figure out where it's all located. It's not the most intuitive user interface I've ever used, but I recognize that it would also be pretty difficult to pack that much info into the more streamlined, simple UI styles that are becoming the preferred choice.

Convenient but over priced compared to competitors.

Pros

They have been in the space for a long time, the platform has evolved to better support the company's that use it.

Cons

They are way over priced for an automated CRM. If they don't adjust pricing to be more in line with competitors they will continue to lose market share to competitors who are much more reasonable and have comparable/better services.

As a Marketing Manager, I love this software to keep track of Leads.

Pros

As a whole, my company uses this software to send invoices to our customers and keep track of leads and what the project status is. It's very user friendly and easy to use.

Cons

An excellent product, especially for contractors that are operating by the seat of their pants.

over time Acculynx was able to be configured to run the entire roofing business from start to finish. All resources for all employees to be put inside this program. Being able to see what you installed, which includes your entire bill of material, is excellent.

Pros

Templates makes providing detailed estimates to customers a lot easier than what you are probably doing now. The messages, that are updated in each customers profile, makes it easy to keep your team on the same page. If you have an issue, the tech support staff is excellent. For field user, the app is like carrying the portion office that you need in your pocket.

Cons

Improvements need to be made to reporting and the production calendar. Adding the ability to search on repairs and warranty would be a nice feature.

Very computer friendly

My life is so much more organized. I can go home on the weekends and not have to worry about what needs to be done or where I may have put the file. It feels good to be able to share with my boss when she is away from the office and show her profit and or losses.

Pros

It will help with a lot of organization. I was tired of having paper trails all over and I was so less stressed to have everything on one program from lead to completion and final payment

Cons

The only thing I think that would benefit this software and be more valuable is if it had a face recognition time clock for the employees.

I love the new @Me feature - I can easly look at items that apply to my position and job duties; especially if someone has specifically called me out to complete something.

Cons

Great for non-insurance work

Very user friendly and intuitive for basic non-insurance work. Very nice employees. Ultimately, we decided not to use Acculynx anymore because we needed the ability to export our files to Xactimate. Nice program for roofing companies who don't need that function.

Pros

VERY user friendly, nice design. Payment tracking and production tracking are great. Love the date stamped communication with internal team members.

Cons

Unable to export photos and documents to Xactimate for insurance jobs. Invoicing within the program is possible but not practical for printing and sending to clients.

Very good for organization!

Over all, very good software, keeps you organized and very easy to use.

Pros

Very accessible! Computer at the office, at home, from your phone! You can even request the desktop sit on your phone to utilize all functions from your phone.

Cons

Have to be careful with estimates.... You can play with the profitability percentage but ensure its high enough to account for for all taxes in your area because it does not account for it when calculating the net profit at the end so it looks like you made more than you did.
