Limited explanation of functions, a lot you learn by trial by error.

The estimating component is out there for me to learn. Other than a few frustrations with my lack of experience and the way I do thing vs the way the industry does them.

I use other programs/cost books to compile pricing, labor minimums and depreciation. Over all I am very satisfied with Active Takeoff.

AT is a quick and efficient way to take info out of plans and other images, and best of all to document the source of the take off information.

The ease of importing plans from .pdf into the software is extremely intuitive. Active Takeoff allows a user to QUICKLY begin the process of plan takeoff.

He was so nice and willing to help teach me how to use the product correctly.

There was 1 thing that was missing which was joist estimation on construction.

Have to count joists off program. Just limited framing which is what I needed.

The curser is hard to use when trying to do perimeters. A double click will not shut off and i have random lines being measured.

I have used numerous takeoff softwares in the past and this one is by far the best. The ease of use is what sold me.

I love that is allows me to color code plans. As a GC, the subcontractors love it when I have a color coded plan for them.

I found out I was one of the first 20 customers to purchase it in the United States. I cannot tell you how happy I have been with this software and the customer service.

It doesn't have customizable features for flooring. It is hard to measure for trim and/or base because there isn't an applicable extension.

I demoed a variety of take-off packages and for the price this one seemed to be the best value for what we were looking for.

Retention management is a fantastic tool. The way that this product assists to improve communication between the field and office users.

It is stable and they are not changing it for the sake of changing.

The ease of import from drawing take off to Quote to Scheduling the job makes this the easiest software  for all levels of users.

Aroflo is a good all round package it can be simple or powerful dependoing on how much time you have to set it up and use it. We find it great and are only using aprox 50 % of it at a guess.

New PO billing is a waste of time for us and we should be able to opt out but it makes us go through this process that we don't need.

Aroflo customer support has been amazing in helping implement the program and there ongoing support is invaluable.

I have been using Aroflo for over 4 years, with a great deal of success. Scheduling using periodic tasks has been a life saver.

It fits most of our requirements, and it is quite good from a project management perspective. The Purchase order module has increased our productivity significantly, and has reduced miscommunications.

The customer service team is very responsive to questions and queries, and most of them will try to find a workaround to achieve what you need to for your business.

This product is evolving constantly, with excellent upgrades which does not cost the consumer. Overall very happy with the product and what information can be collated.

The only problem we have is with the searching. It has gradually got worse over the year.

I dislike the lack of communication with other online products our business uses.

Easy to use, set up and support has been excellent,  lots of training included.

I like the integration of service job creation and allocation, with spare parts inventory control, job status monitoring and finally invoicing.

When a purchase order goes wrong, it is hard to get it back into the system.

Email integration is shaky and doesn't always send/receive. Recommended/requested improvements or reported errors are not often attended to.

Excellent Help and Support. Very intuitive and functionally rich features and good User Interface.

Aroflo is easy to use, training was great videos and manual are comprehensive and  support is amazing.

The tech support has been great. Software is very reliable and you can upload photos from your phone and other devices at any time do you have Internet.

Great workflow management tool, with very responsive and helpful customer service.

No refunds if Aroflo doesn't meet your requirements, Aroflo will say this is due to high training costs. No option to trial Aroflo, in hindsight this should ring alarm bells.
