This was a great lower cost solution for getting into CAD. The cost is more than what we wanted to spend, but pricing is competitive.

Sometimes the program may crash or shut down unexpectedly. If the autosave feature is not enabled this can lead to a huge loss in work.

I've used AutoCad LT for 4 years and have been generally pleased with its features for my use case which is one off products and maintaining a floor plan for out plant layout.

Great for Interior Designers, Architects, Engineers and builders.

It has got almost all 2D drawing features. Creating complex multi-layered drawings are very easy.

What I like the most about AutoCAD Lt is its cost. A years subscription can be up to twenty five percent of the original program.

Easy to integrate in manufacturing applications. The printing options available are better than competition.

Auto CAD is very nice software for anything to planning,drawing and designing.

With the wide range of APIs, the solution has to offer and the ability to integrate with other third-party applications.

Still this is a good help for me doing my drawings.

It's enough to accomplish most design tasks and the pricing is a lot more attractive.

Some 3d elements and quick short cuts are not available but it really doesn't effect our daily work flow.

AutoCAD LT is a great light weight option for reviewing and revising, CAD drawings. Take-offs, measurements, clouds, etc are all very straight forward and runs quicker than regular AutoCAD.

It has no 3d capacities, so it is for no use in the architecture office anymore.

Again, I do not personally use it, but I have not been told of any negative features about the software.

It's an excellent piece of software which essentially strips down the standard Autocad version by removing a few features like 3D modelling.

The software provides single-user licensing, so it may be difficult to use as a business organization.

It is still CAD and is something that takes time to learn. Because of the trimmed down features it can have some odd errors where objects are not read/supported, so they can be edited or removed.

AutoCAD LT is a user friendly, all encompassing design software. The ease of use for our draftsmen is great.

It is an application that I can quickly model an easy 2 dimensional object. I can access this model I designed on the web and mobile.

I don't like it when I have to change plot settings so I try to avoid it.

Ease of use and the ability to install it on a tablet.

It permits to have an extensive library of already drawn items. Instead of copying and pasting from previous drawings, we can draw it once, save it in the library and call on it whenever we like.

Dynamo integration is very helpful to automate and speed up information production and management.

It's very useful software allowing all disciplines to collaborate, and is a great tool for visualizing architecture in 3D.

Revit is also backed up by AutoDesk's usually excellent customer service and licencing options.

I love the challenge of working in Revit and in 3D in general. It's great because even though I have been using it for a quite a few years I feel there's always still something to learn.

An excellent tool if you are willing to invest the time.

We can easy to build a building in this software , in this software after rendering we get a good picture about our plan.

So far so good, it's very helpful when showing the customers the possible final look of the new garage doors and how they change the whole look of the house.

This BIM authoring software works very well against modern AEC information production and management. The software benefits from many plugins and integrations to help with this as well.

You may get so many errors while working on Revit due to you have to you have to focus on tiny lines.

If you are looking for precise and reliable conception of buildings, REVIT is great! this software packs every tools, that will help to draw building with all its architectural and technical details.

With great Autodesk help support and an active online community, you can always find solutions to any issue you may have. I have been recommending Revit to colleagues every chance I get.

I absolute loathe that for how advanced the software is to build a home, it stinks to be able to make components. You can’t treat families as components.

The aspect that I found most difficult about this software is the lack of tools available while creating final layout and presentation sheets.

Integration from another system can be difficult, and the price can be prohibitively expensive.

What sets it apart from say Archicad is that the built in content is scarce but the built in tools will let you design all the missing components.

I am in love with this software. Once I am done learning all the features, I am pretty sure it would prove to be a big asset on my resume.

Horrible, I thought I would be able to spend 2-3 hours with it and learn to make small sqft CAD drawings, not.

It is a great software for modeling of construction to help us to save time and money modeling your projects3.

It is easy to use once you get the harangue of it. I love that it generates 3D model when you just draw the plan.

Using it daily for coordinating with BIM modelers. The designing is good, looking in a 3D view with all other users work at the same time is also good.

The only thing that bothers me is when plotting, my project lines get thick.

The option of taking a section through any part of a building can also help investigate awkward geometries and investigate interferences.

The ability to have everything in 3d view and the ability to coordinate between disciplines.

Sometimes it is a little hard to figure out what is wrong. For example, I works in electrical field and there were few times the load type didn’t add up quickly and it was hard to see where was wrong.

It can do everything and since it is by autodesk it has a lot of community support.

They keep releasing new updates and features every year and with its open api, we are able to create many useful plugins.

I like the program because at the same time you get the 3d model and I like how easy is it for use.

Revit, especially with BIM 360 cloud storage, is an amazing asset to have when it comes to collaboration and sheet creation. We also love to use Enscape with Revit to produce our marketing material.

I have used Revit for 3+ years and I have loved it. I have designed and built many projects in it.

Seamless integration with other Autodesk solutions (NavisWorsk, Robot .. etc.). Plenty of training resources online.

There is the ability to share projects among users which makes it easy to work on a single project at a time. I would surely recommend Revit.

The downside of this software is the printing part.

Working in 2D and 3D this days is the best tool because most of our clients like to see what the project will look like in real life and with this we can do it in a short time too.

My problem is that some things are difficult to customize, and a lot of times you need to download objects to create a more complete 3d.

Interoperability between different causing data loss.

Again, I love the compatibility aspect, I just don't care for the required learning curve. A lot of patience is necessary.

My experience has been very good, it is a modern BIM authoring software and deploying this across our organization has been reasonably easy with training.

It also allows you to anticipate project performance even before construction begins, to create better quality concepts and to improve delivery conditions.

Bad in that getting our users to make the switch has taken time and resources. Figure on about 1-2 years to fully move from AutoCAD to Revit.

Most options are easily visible and intuitive. The tutorials as I remember where great - you get to built a house from scratch and learn many tools.

This BIM software is great because it understand what you draw, it understands materials, elements, and many more. And this can help in estimating structure calculation, quantities, prices.

In my user opinion, this software is the best on the market. It is easy to use and implement in a company.

My experience with the software is great because it help me to model my projects to show them to costumers.

We can proceed with Total BIM with modeling, coordination, estimation, spoiling with this software. Time to time updation of software with growing world is the best thing about this software.
