Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love the user friendliness and the inter-activeness of the program. Will recommend it to all my associates.
- Progress photos documented throughout the course of construction has saved us money. Also posting sketches/linking drawings to quickly thumb through the plans is super helpful.
- Ios, Android and desktop versions seem to operate flawlessly. And the customer service has been outstanding.
Cons
- The lag time drives me nuts. Not sure if its the device I have running the program or the software itself.
- Is very expensive and for general managment or project engineer in the mining sector is very difficult to work with, because of the lack knowledge and is not very common in the sector.
- For the field this cant be beat. In the office Bluebeam kills it.
Pros
- Overall, so impressed with this platform. Excited to learn a ton at Clarizen @ Work to help tranform our company.
- Working with Clarizen is always easy, they are incredibly helpful and their Professional Services support is outstanding.
- The most important thing that impressed me is the proximity of the Clarizen team. They are quick with to the point answers, very accessible and open to listen to your challenges.
Cons
- As a PPM, there are still gaps (as of this writing) in some basic PPM functionality. The most glaring to me is the lack of Capacity Planning functionality.
- No option for capturing project expenses against a project. Difficult to enter in dependencies, very repetitive task, rather than allowing for templates to be used.
- The lack of an "undo" for small changes is sometimes troublesome.
