Pros/Cons
Pros
- It is a platform that can help me manage my project more efficiently and to have a good outcome. It really help me to identify small issues before they become a big one.
- The "not current" feature is fantastic and the ability to have all of their specifications, drawings and RFIs in one handy, easy to carry place is priceless.
- Using this for QC is a huge bonus. Everything one one place, automated reports, and ease of use make this tool a great way to track outstanding issues.
Cons
- The lag time drives me nuts. Not sure if its the device I have running the program or the software itself.
- Is very expensive and for general managment or project engineer in the mining sector is very difficult to work with, because of the lack knowledge and is not very common in the sector.
- For the field this cant be beat. In the office Bluebeam kills it.
Pros
- They're honest and want to build true win win relationships. All my reps have all been fantastic.
- The ability to have a set of shared plans is super helpful, as you can make field modifications in real time and have them reflected on all your coworkers plans as well, and vice-versa.
- I can put in a invoice for a job, and then my other two coworkers can look at it when they have time. Win was super helpful with me yesterday.
Cons
- We had fraud on our account so our card was blocked and our account suspended. We called our rep and gave her our new card number and she put us back in business.
- This makes the likelihood of proper use by our guys in the field highly unlikely, which could be worse than if we don't use GamePlan at all.
- Occasional outages through the Construction Online sometimes slow down the input and receipt of information. No formal training for mobile users.
