    Pros

The ability to mark up .dwg files directly, whether on a computer or mobile, and share the content across multiple disciplines simultaneously is very useful for project teams.

    Cons

The mobile app crashes for me on the Android platform, which can be frustrating as I lose my markups and have to start over.

    Cons

It is a complicated and difficult system to induce at the business or educational level. So it requires a group with an efficient order in all its parts.

I was utilizing BIM 360 Field and Glue to take care of the quality control/quality assurance process during the construction phase of a bioscience research laboratory. I was creating issues and sharing them with the trade partners (sub-contractors) that were responsible for them,

    Pros

How it allows you to be in the field and have all the drawings and construction plans available to direct the work taking place.

    Cons

It takes a little bit to get used to it and there's not enough shortcuts in the apps yet. There are too many functions and it is hard to use them all without the appropriate training.

A specialized cloud for BIM projects

BIM 360 is a much needed centralized information platform where you can share all the information regarding a Civil Engineering and Architecture project with all the team, or teams, that are participating in such project. I find this tool entirely useful for my projects, because I can share all the information about a project with my team, involving different disciplines such as Structural Engineering, Architecture, Plumbing Engineering, Interior Designers, and, most importantly, the Client Team. The main difference about BIM 360 and other cloud services is that it allow us to review Autodesk files. Personally, in the projects I've participated, I've used it for reviewing, markups, and comment files from AutoCAD, Revit, and 3DS max. This is very useful because you don't have to install an app for using this service, all you have to do is access to the BIM 360 page from any smartphone, tablet, or pc, and you can view the model from that page.

    Pros

    1) Access to the Autodesk files for Reviewing.
    2) Saving all the information regarding a Civil Engineering Project.
    3) Access to the Autodesk files from any smartphone, tablet, or pc.
    4) Interaction with the models without the need of an app, just by accessing from any browser.
    5) Markups and comment sharing.

    Cons

The only con that I can think about is that you cannot edit files in this software. But, since its purpose is just to share information, I don't think that is necessarily a con.

    Pros

The application is very good, especially for the support provided by your tools, which help you even with the projection of sunlight.

It is also very useful because it helps to improve the design of any building or infrastructure that one tries to design

    Cons

To date I have not been able to find any negative point in this software, because it provides all the possibilities to develop the good design of a building and thus offer the best quality

    Pros

With the industry transition to BIM and cross profession design integration, BIM 360 Teams is a major asset for design teams.

    Cons

It tends to forget text/ markup formatting occasionally. Not a huge issue, just mildly annoying on occasion.

The ability to view, edit and collaborate on .dwg and BIM project files with both internal and external designers is an amazing tool. If I'm on-site, I can even open files on mobile devices and mark-up as needed.

    Pros

BIM 360's cross platform and device support allows for markups on either computer, phones or tablets, and the ability to use the markups offline allows review of drawing sets while traveling. Very useful features!

    Cons

The android mobile app takes a long time to load files for viewing/editing, and it seems to have difficulty remembering markup formatting.

BIM 360 assists in our design of various projects. It is very complex and can be used in a wide array of projects for calculations and design drawings.

BIM 360 is great once you know the main functions, but isn't very user-friendly at first. It was complicated to learn in the beginning.

It creates a central location to share all project updates.

    Pros

This program allows for easy sharing of projects and models. It is a work space for all team members to be updated with changes .

    Cons

Using the program is not the easiest or straight forward. It does have lots of features but there are many other competitive programs that are better.

    Ease-of-use
    Functionality

    Value for Money
    Pros

The fact that it is web based makes everything sync so much better than most of your on premisis solutions. It really makes communication between office personnel and field personnel so much easier. It really seemed to make the communication channels easier

    Cons

Now the cost can be prohibitive but that is the same with almost every other construction management software. Most general contractors are in such a small niche that finding good inexpensive software is hard.

    Pros

The ability to use a cloud model for Revit sharing between various offices. I have used it to collaborate as a consultant architect on a larger project. Each office had their own model to maintain autonomy, but we easily linked our files together in the cloud to coordinate the modeling

    Cons

The BIM 360 Team online does not automatically update as the model does. I had difficulty coordinating with my project architect because I needed to download an updated version from the cloud to give to my consultant who couldn't pay for a 360 subscription. It took several weeks of communication to work out who needed to "publish" the model to the cloud.
Additionally, the customer service is geared toward BIM managers who are well trained in these types of software. As a typical Revit user, I had a difficult time finding instructions to create and upload a cloud model. The general start-up instructions were very reductive of the amount of steps that have to be taken.

    Pros

This is a must-have piece of software if you work in the architectural and engineering field. All of our teams are well versed in this software and is vital when working across companies for collaboration.

    Cons

I would have to say that the biggest drawback of this software is the cost. For an entry-level person, this could be very expensive to purchase to get your career going.
