Pros

Very easy to setup and use. You can also link your drawings to punch lists and communicate with this with your team. Mobile friendly so you can take it in the field.

Cons

Sometimes loading the drawings can be onerous. You may run into some small glitches here and there but it is nothing major.

Overall, I've used this software for over 5 years now and have yet to see any comparable software that can surpass it's use or functionality yet.

Pros

This software is used by large GC's (e.g. Balfour Beatty, Rodgers Builders, etc) and contains all drawings, submittals, and RFI's to name a few.

Cons

It's somewhat difficult to navigate as a beginner, and you''ll need to bookmark pages to find information faster.

N/A

Definitely a must have for team projects involving prints and drawings. If you can't maximize the abilities of the software for your needs it may not be worth the subscription.

Pros

Used this on a small team with several guys still learning CAD. It was nice to be able to make changes and updates and compare what each other has done. It isn't quite what it was designed for but it worked great! It was also nice when being a field guy, I could make a mark up or correction and then the CAD pro could make it official. Great collaboration tool!

Cons

It is a bit pricey if you are not working in CAD on a daily basis or making constant updates with collaboration. As far as the idea of the software, no real cons to be found.

Cuts down on site visit time

Pros

+Favorites List: You can input a list of favorite deficiencies into BIM 360 - this lets you select common items. I've had to punch over 300 apartments in a dorm - seeing the same installation deficiencies over and over. With BIM 360, documenting was as easy as a few clicks - saving time on the job.
+Dropping Pins - this feature lets you pin point the exact location where the deficiency is. Combined with the ability to take photos, the contractor has no excuse.

Cons

-Web-based software: We may live in a digital age but construction still requires documentation. After a day's work of punching a building I need a copy of my comments for the project file. To acquire a "field report" or PDF of comments from BIM 360, you literally have to check every deficiency item. When dealing with hundreds of items, it becomes tedious. There is no select all feature.
-No Microsoft Surface Pro app for BIM 360. My client required BIM 360 so my employer had to buy iPads to meet the client's requirements.
-When using the web based software it can be slow when selecting a filter i.e. an item generated by my company. The loading time is very slow.
If Autodesk addressed these issues, they would surpass their competitors in the construction management software.

Used as an alternative to dropbox because one of the add-ons allows us to share more easily with clients.

Pros

Useful for what we purchased it for, we can keep all docs in one place. Having an icon on each file is a nice visual cue when searching for files.

Cons

No way to customize the user interface which is disappointing. We are also required to pay for service add-ons that we never use.

Pros

+For the iPad it is a pretty good software if the contractor sets it up correctly. It is fairly easy to use and can be customized down to the room the AE team is punching.

Cons

-It is only available for the iPad. I frequently use a Microsoft SurfacePro 3. Wish the BIM 360 app was developed for Microsoft, too.
-Slow loading times for uploading deficiencies. Often I am at a final punch all day - I like to upload the morning's deficiencies when I am taking a lunch break - but since BIM360 is slow to upload, it is impractical.
-To get a field report you have to use the web-based PC version.

streamlines communication and cross discipline coordination!

Pros

BIM 360 allows cross discipline coordination and collaboration between multiple offices or multiple firms to work simultaneously on a single project simplifying a lot of communication and coordination.

Cons

The system is dependent on reliable server access and setting up a BIM 360 Revit model, for example, involves a lot of complicated front end administrative work.

It was a great way to collaborate with the subcontractors and owners. It also was great to have a platform that allowed for the model to be viewed in.

Pros

I used it in the field on a job with a lot of QC responsibilities. I liked how I was able to send emails to contractors of punchlist items. We also utilized the BIM 360 Glue software and we were able to use the model to navigate the building. That was my favorite feature.

Cons

The software required you to push a lot of buttons. I don't know how to make it better but the amount of buttons you had to push to navigate to the different pages were hard to remember. It also was really easy for Architects/Owners to add punchlist items...

i was able to keep all the material for a project together and track it with all the issues during the project and assign problem owners

Pros

Its an excellent software where you can track small big projects and also store associated documentation and also track construction issues which can be accessed by multiple folks who can edit and update those issues.

Cons

i think the platform it is based on makes it vulnerable to errors and sometimes back buttons and other encryption doesn't work too well. Maybe that can be improved.

C4R only work with Revit and not civil 3d or Robot this is a shortfall of the application. If this was added as a feature this would take a good lead in the market. Some administration extra's would be nice. Such as easy restore and a better rollback feature.
