About BuildScan

BuildScan is a defect & task management app for construction and property teams. Our simple and innovative app allows teams to collaborate on construction projects to ensure a streamlined approach to managing workflow, defect management & more. Defects can be logged into a plot with the addition of multiple photos and videos. These can then be assigned to a location, build stage & be given a priority rating. These defects can then be assigned to team members and subcontractors which will then appear in that user's tasks tab. Users can access BuildScan via iOS, Android or using a browser. Multiple users can collaborate in the same Workspace - Project - Plot allowing for complete transparency and streamlined management.

BuildScan Pricing

All users get access to the free version which gives access to 1 workspace, 1 project and 1 plot with unlimited collaboration. Additional workspaces, projects and plots can be purchased. No charge for additional users.

Streamlined & Simple Defect & Task Management

Great experience. Simple for our entire team to use. Allows full transparency for the defect and task management process.

PROS

BuildScan allows my team and stakeholders to manage projects efficiently. We break down projects into plots to ensure we have full overview of different areas of the project. This allows us to work systematically and collaboratively in ensuring defects / snags are picked up and rectified in a timely and efficient manner. We often have multiple people using BuildScan in synchronisation allowing our entire team to progress works with transparency.

CONS

Having spoken with BuildScan there is lots of updates coming out that will greatly enhance the system

Reason for choosing BuildScan

Simplicity, collaboration, cost and more

Reasons for switching to BuildScan

The other systems were outdated and providing almost no innovation

Great, lots of innovative features that streamlined the defect and task management process for us. Lots more exciting new features coming into play soon which we're all very excited about!

PROS

Easy to invite our team, the new workspace functionality provided great transparency for our team, clients and growing list of projects

CONS

There was a short delay adding in some of our team due to a bug that has now been fixed
