Pros/Cons
  • Pros

  • I can now keep up with all quotes & take offs, time is saved massively. Not too mention I can attach all my contracts and save all my templates from all my suppliers, I love it.
  • The ability to use existing formulas from historical jobs creates and ease and confidence when pricing. I love the take-off options, that can be used on-site and for others to price.
  • My experience with Buildexact so far has been extremely helpful integration with suppliers is fantastic making quoting a lot more streamlined.
  • Cons

  • There is no undo button when quoting or give me an option to lock a template, I accidentally deleted lines of my template and lost a lot of info.
  • The variation function is limited at times as you cant use recipes to price them up quickly.
  • With cost plus’s Client reports are hard and timely, can’t print and show them cost tracking v estimate.

  • Pros

  • I like best that you can attach documents and pictures to the daily reports. It helps to assure needed information will be easily accessible in one place.
  • Some of the features of this program are very useful. It has been super useful for tracking all construction documents, as-builts, RFIs, Submittals, and even for completing observation reports.
  • I like the features include in this platform, its gives you all you need for a construction management project. It's really easy to use and the interface is user friendly and really nice.
  • Cons

  • It is a terrible, horrible piece of software. If you hate someone, force them to use this.
  • Anything from Procore now immediate goes into my spam folder. Next time a general tells me they are using Procore I will be demanding an additional $3000 for my time to use this stupid software.
  • There are so many things I dislike, it’s hard to know where to start.
