The support has been amazing - I have emails that encourage me to take part in the free on phone one on one training and they have been able to walk me through the rough spots.

I like that it integrates most things that my company needs to run effectively. I'm excited about using a product that lets us keep everything in one place.

The amount of customization is amazing and it's very feature robust.

Customer Service is horrible. I told the company repeatedly thru phone calls and sent the owner directly and email requesting they do not charge my card and they did so anyway refusing to reimburse.

So far, just a couple weeks in, contractor foreman seems like a good fit for us. Their customer service is very responsive and questions were answered quickly.

Otherwise everything is screwed up and it is not a simple process at all.

Contractor Foreman is an all-in-one solution to many of the problems we face on a daily basis as a mid-size General Contractor.

Also hate that you cannot create a service ticket with an item from an estimate or sov.

We are still trying to figure out a lot of the features but so far the customer service has been outstanding.

For the price you get a lot of useful features, daily reports were the highlight, fillable forms, RFIs and how it managed those files was nice.

The inability to be able to enter multiple pay wages for employees. The software is currently unable to track Davis Bacon wage jobs as is.

We are also a fan of the Live Training. In our opinion we feel like the Live Training and the on line Video training is great.

It is wonderful to call, send an email, or live chat and get a response. We are just a few days into our trial and have had such great customer service.

They immediately charged a year's subscription to our credit card. We called and asked to cancel and asked for a refund.

Contractor Foreman staff have been very responsive when I've needed help. I watched many videos and they also have been helpful.

This is a terrific dashboard for monitoring multiple projects and the app is very intuitive.

For the price, you can't beat it. It does an adequate job tracking the things we need to track, and the scheduling tool is great.

Very easy to use and save files and photos to review.

When I don't have cell service I have trouble switching my cost code.

Personally my biggest con is the inability to customize the actual layout of the estimates/invoices.

The program is customizable and flexible to fit most companies' needs. In our case, CF is doing a great job at helping us track the progress of our projects.

I love the full spectrum that it offers as an all in one and easy to navigate and integrate.

I am pleased with the program. It was an easy transition from MacDraft Professional 6.

Scaleing was easy, importing Chinese words was great.

Problems with writing notes on drawings. Hard to select text and modify that which was written.

The UI looks nice and - after some getting used to - the app is quite easy to use.

Extruding lines from objects sometimes distorts and moves the objects. This happens when you extrude from corners.

I did contact “ sales” and was told this happened because I had Scales showing - wrong.

I like that it is easier to use and doesn't meed various clicks when part to a drawing is done. I like the range of options available.

Which I find tremendously fun and refreshing, like drawing on paper, only you have precision, dimensioning, and you can rearrange everything.

The user manual MDFT7-050319PB has quite a few errors and typos. I haven't checked recently to see if it has been updated.

Fantastic software and customer service, would highly recommend.

One car might be roomier and faster than the second which in turn might be better optioned and more economical - so it is with CAD items.

Still find it useful even though I made the transition to 3D. Maybe future releases could offer integration with 3D programs like SketchUp.

We don't yet have a lot of experience with it. But we anticipate that the auto save feature will be a great improvement over previous versions.

It was easy to learn, inexpensive to maintain, and had excellent graphic quality.

Newest update is even better. Very flexible printing options for a wide variety of output devices.

The help line and over the phone knowledge of the tech support is second to none. These guys are so helpful and nothing is a issue to them, the best software I have used for years.

The new version has excellent DXF and DWG capabilities and is much faster than version 6. Overall it is a great upgrade.

I really like this application and have been with it for awhile. I like the combination of precision and intuitive.

I like the ease of use and the fact that it is not cluttered with features not required for 2D drafting.

And customer service is great...always able to connect with someone who wants to help.

It is a very competent drawing and drafting app that may be perfect for those who need less complex design software. The newer updates also have given it better speed and stability.

The interface is not very customizable, so there is no way to hide or move features that I seldom use. But you can't have everything.

With a little practice, an amateur like me can create very precise drawings and designs, and do so rapidly. Printouts are clean and accurate.

I upgraded from a very old obsolete version that I was used to. So there’s a learning curve for me.

Am glad it has switched to 64bit as I have a new mac this year. Have not used it enough yet for a full review but glad It is still simple to use.

It's simple, cost effective and easy to use for small and midsized projects. I would say the most important improvement would be to allow custom shortcut key assignment.

So does with this software, the nice and cartoonist like UI is great and eyes catching, not too complicated but it does a tons of stuff.

MacDraft Professional is a 2D CAD application for Mac. The software is suitable for classrooms, professional architects and individual users, and it features tools for floor plan design, architectural drawing and illustration.


Users can create architectural drawings, floor plans, garden plans, mechanical drawings and topography. Users can select different units of measurement and scale drawings as necessary.
