The Ultimate Review

Customer service for me has been outstanding. The guys are always helpful, always return calls and if they don't know they will figure it out.

PROS

Takes way less time to complete on the user side, can add pictures and notes for clients. Can incorporate all of the aspects of our business on it. Of course it's only as good as the quality we receive in the office. We can export a ton of reports that has helped with a lot of items. The ability to custom add in items is great as well.

CONS

Sometimes we have connection issues but that results from our location. Would love to be able to kick schedules back to employees and make them revise with a pop up or a notification to them. Have the employees be able to review their time on the app. Also a simple clock in and clock out user and maybe a way to link schedules if I have three for one job. With documents it would be great to have the ability to send off for approval or something so when it sucks we can kick it back to the crews for them to redo. Soon enough they would do it right the first time.

Reason for choosing CrewTracks

The ability to track our equipment, materials and time in one simple service. CrewTracks really could take over the whole market with this ability to do all three together. The people and support sold us on the product. In a world lacking in customer service you guys are nailing it for us.

Please consider this The Ultimate Review Response. :) I believe Stealth Energy Group is the company that comes closest to using all of our features. The only feature you're not using is our production tracking, which is a shame because it's awesome. So your feedback is particularly meaningful because you use so much of our app. That said, some of the suggestions you mentioned under "cons" are already covered with functionality you might not be aware of. We'll be in touch to make sure you're not missing out. For example, you can kick schedules back to employees for them to revise. That doesn't currently trigger a push notification, but it does show up red, and then displays a pop-up message with the rejection reason. Shoot, this response has a length limit! I've added some great ideas to our requested features list thanks to this review. Thank you so much for working with us!

Simple to use software that is GREAT for tracking field employees

Crewtracks helped us make the switch from paper timecards to digital. We originally purchased the software to track employee time, however we've started using Crewtracks for so much more. Our foremen have become accustomed to uploading pictures and notes in the app, which allows management to track project costs/production without stepping foot on a job site.

PROS

As a small industrial painting contractor, we FINALLY have a way to track our field employees from our corporate office. Crewtracks allows us to monitor employee hours and performance from afar. We love the ease of use and "simplicity" of the app/desktop versions.

CONS

I wish the sign in/out process was customizable, especially since our crews are working throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. For example... I'd like to be able to track employees' temperatures when they login.

Reason for choosing CrewTracks

Crewtracks offered a simpler design for less money. Our small business (50-75 employees) did not need all of the features of BusyBusy. We liked the "stripped down" version of Crewtracks compared to BusyBusy.

Reasons for switching to CrewTracks

TrueQC was much more expensive and bulkier to use. Our Foremen are on average 55 years old, and they had a difficult time using TrueQC.

We are looking into a more user friendly software to track materials and time on projects with more accuracy. The data provided so far has not been worth the investment. We will not be using this next year

AWESOME APP

I cannot say enough good things about this software. The Customization and the employee tracking are the best I've come across! The time savings we have encountered has been wonderful! We will be using Crew Tracks for a very long time to come!

PROS

Best Aspects of CrewTracks: The ability to customize some spreadsheets and areas within the software to work for our company. Employee tracking has greatly improved. We have saved so much time just in verifying and approving timecards. It is also saving time processing payroll, as well. We are looking forward to integrating with our new accounting software, Foundation in the next couple of months.

CONS

The scheduling portion of the app is in need of serious help, however, it is my understanding that they are working on this currently to make it much more user friendly.

Reasons for switching to CrewTracks

The GPS and Customer Service at ClockShark is TERRIBLE! I spent so much time having to re-do so many reports.

Growing app provides easy tracking

I highly recommend this software to all companies no matter what it is you do. It is so easy to schedule and track your day to day jobs and makes billing super easy. It makes my day go quicker because I don't have to be on a guessing game and don't have to keep going back and forth with the Supervisor or the employees as to what was done and how the property looked when they left.

PROS

Being able to enter information quickly and with only a few steps makes it easy for even the crew to pick up. The appearance and color scheme is appealing. There are a lot of features and you are given the option of selecting which features you would like to use just by a quick click. The gps and live events options make it easy to see where the crew is and what it is they are working on. By having the photo and notes capability it makes it easy for the crew to snap pics of before and after the service has been completed. Further, they can make note of concerns on the property without having to write everything up on a separate sheet of paper. The real time processing makes it easy to bill at the end of the service so there is no payment delays. The app is consistently updated with newer and better options so if you come across something that you would like to see in the software, chances are they are already working on it.

CONS

I currently haven't experienced any cons and have been using the program for over 9 months. If I do come across something that doesn't work with what I want to do, I just reach out to my rep and he lets me know how to work around it. He actually provides me with the information I need to make my request work where I wouldn't have thought I could make it work.
