Pros
- I like the ease of use, the reports, and the ability to export information to Excel or Primavera. I especially like the ability to export to and from DOT bidding software like Expedite Bid.
- The are talented individuals that have come together for the common good. I am very proud to use this great product all along knowing I have such great support.
Cons
- This is especially frustrating on bids with child and grandchild bid items requiring reorganization. In resource setup registers, there is no way to sort.
- There are no real complaints on my end. If there are ever any complaints, HCSS will listen and modify their software.
Pros
- Once used to the system and formats it was easy to use. Early on customer support was amazing.
- Works using databases rather than project files which makes it suitable for working on many projects and offers many types of databases (Oracle, SQL server, SQLite). Supports single or multiple users.
Cons
- Sometimes when you hit the execute button, it changes the dates which are not meant to be changed. It can be due to poor constraints defined by the user but it becomes a little irritating.
- It is quite hard to learn by yourself. You need a training in order to understand the functionality and need to keep practicing.
