The solution offers strong capabilities for cost estimation, project control, and enterprise-wide integration. The available documentation is helpful and supports users in understanding the system. While some processes can be complex, the benefits of having an integrated, cloud-based construction ERP outweigh the challenges, especially for organizations managing multiple projects simultaneously. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 3/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 3/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros RIB 4.0 provides a comprehensive, cloud-based platform that supports the entire construction project lifecycle. The biggest advantage is the ability to manage multiple projects within one integrated ERP system while maintaining a single source of truth (SSOT) for project data. The Estimate module is particularly powerful, offering detailed cost planning and a structured approach to managing cost elements. The cloud architecture also improves accessibility and collaboration across teams and locations. #### Cons Some functionalities, especially around cost scheduling and cost structure management, can be quite complex and require a significant learning effort. Certain workflows are not always intuitive, and new users may need additional training to become productive. Depending on the licensing model and system configuration, performance can occasionally vary. #### Reasons for switching to RIB 4.0 We made the switch from iTWO to RIB 4.0 as part of a customer project. In addition, my company decided to standardize on RIB 4.0 as the preferred platform for cost estimation and project management. It is clearly structured, easy to customize to individual requirements, and convenient to use on mobile devices. #### Cons Getting familiar with the different modules requires some time, as the learning curve is relatively steep. However, RIB offers a wide range of e-learning resources as well as individual training options. #### Vendor response Thank you for your detailed and balanced feedback.
