JOBPROGRESS is construction management software for residential remodeling contractors. The system works best with small businesses and can be customized to grow with an organization. The platform is web-based and offers estimating, project management, and customer management.
JOBPROGRESS also offers photo management, document control, and contract management. The system works on Windows or Mac iOS, and is iPad compatible. With the mobile app users can create instant proposals and contracts and have remote business control.
Dashboard work centers help manage workflow and the program is fully customizable for each job. There is a job scheduling management function and GPS functionality to navigate to and from jobs.
Since the platform is Web-based and iPad compatible, it can be accessed from anywhere at anytime, allowing the user to update job progress in real time.

Support is pretty good. System is still preferable for us compared to other products on the market. JP is constantly trying to please everyone to “get it right” which is a good thing. I would say they are at awkward adolescent stage and I look forward to seeing this product fully developed.
It is able to be customized/tailored to fit your internal protocol. Constantly updating with new and powerful features.
Good function ideas that never seem to develop completely by getting the bugs out. Still missing many basic/key functions like reporting, and filter/sort options. Production calendar is still not as sophisticated as Google cal. Invoicing needs a template option.

This app is a life saver! So many features its hard to pick one....but probably my favorite thing is having EVERY piece of information for a customer and a job in ONE place...for ALL to see. I'm in the office, and I can see updates from the guys on the road instantly. When I get calls - I can update everyone in the office, on the road, on the sales floor at the same time. Marvelous!
The Jobprogress Calendar didn't sync with our old Calendar software but then we upgraded to Google Calendar which did sync with Jobprogress and all was good once again.

User friendly and the support you receive is outstanding.
When you are taking pictures outside a wifi connected area it seems to take a very long time to process. For example, taking and saving pictures to customer files.
Others will find the use of this software very easy to maneuver. The developers definitely did their homework when creating this software and every change that we recommended was handled and fixed in a very short time.

Speed is too slow. It takes a while to update after every change. I actually need 2 screens to keep continually working.

The GPS to find the jobs is pretty cool... clearly having customers organized Is pretty good too not having to go to the office or call to get customers is actually beneficial
The other day I had to try to log in while driving and out in the field, what a pain it was. I ended up deleting my mobile app by accident

once I estimate jobs all the customers are in the proposal given category.. it's also nice to have the GPS button where I can hit it and find any house without having to type in the address.
when it makes me login which is a pain in the ass because I can't see real good I hate it when I have to login again because I can hardly see the symbols on a phone

Very user friendly and program is very easy to train new staff on. If there is ever an issue or concern, I know our reps will take care of it or help find the reason why its happening. If a system glitch, it will be addressed and corrected. If a user error, its determined as well so we can address users as to what they are doing to cause it. If I want a feature added, they have always been willing to help get it.
Management would like access to more reports. Initially the functionality of the desktop version and mobile applications were quite varied but we worked with Job Progress to have same functions on both.

Financial is not available to all users to make invoices. I have had problems with the app just closing and losing what I am working on.

Very good customization depending on how you want your jobs to go through your personalized pipe-line. Tons of additional features that we use all the time (like call scripts, social media connectivity, etc...). EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. They've spent hours walking us through everything with every conversation ending with, "is there anything else? and we can schedule another call whenever you'd like if you need anything at all."
Was slightly difficult to find everything within the program and brought only partial information from our last CRM (half of the telephone numbers)

The program you've designed is very detailed. I've worked with 3-4 technology based programs in construction industry thus far.
Not sure the ease of loading photos to ur program. We just completed the training for use of your program 2 weeks ago with our C.E.O. of our company and 2 additional salespersons. Currently I imput data daily on this program and so far the Cons r few. As I get more familiar with Job Progress I may have additional concerns.

The ability to be linked with the whole team across multiple offices. The fact that I as a manager can run a real time report for almost anything is just icing on the cake. As just a crm program this is already a great value.
Lack of roof measurement tool is literally the only thing missing. Once that's added it's lights out for all competitors.

Searching by phone number is tricky. I need customer's name or address. System won't search by phone number. Also, if you make system changes at any time, it only goes into effect for new clients. Existing clients/jobs will not have the new changes available within their profiles.

The interaction between desk top and mobile versions is seamless, homeowner's page feature is a great communication tool, friendly representatives and fair cost.
The reporting capabilities are very limited in relation to sales. They have not yet developed a detailed and customizable reporting format, however, I do know it is being worked on. Some pages seem to take a while to load.

I like the adaptability. The team at JobProgress is actively seeking feedback to continually improve the software. And the changes are improvements not setbacks.
I wish we could build our own templates. I have waited close to 8 weeks for a template! That's too long. We should be able to cut that time by building these ourselves.

everything is fairly linked w everything else. for the most part i dont have to imput into multiple spots so the same information can be seen everywhere.
it randomly duplicates things such as appts or jobs or entire cust. profiles on its own. uploading pics doesnt upload it everywhere in the profile. creating and viewing invoices has too many repeated steps to make the invoice reflect the info already in jp. etc

Proposal template is not very user friendly and you cannot copy and paste into it very well, Invoicing feature, Why when you mark a client as `job lost¿ does it disappear from JP, When viewing the sales report page, we need to be able to click on the lead source and see all jobs won and lost in a list view , Cannot upload videos
Some of the above may have been remedied with Admin, but not rolled out to the users.
