About NEWSTAR

NEWSTAR is Constellation Software's homebuilding solution for midsize residential builders. It's designed for production homebuilders that build more than 100 homes a year. It can also be used by real estate developers and design/build firms working on residential projects. NEWSTAR combines accounting, bid management, cost estimating, project management and service management in a single, fully-integrated suite. Additionally, it offers unique capabilities such as warranty management to track home information and warranties and a purchase order system that allows users to auto-generate purchase orders and send them to suppliers. Easy to use in office or on site

PROS

Provides a easy way to streamline project information between office and field teams

CONS

Took a bit of time to learn to navigate the program but was easier once I was able to save setting preferences

Could use an update

PROS

This software was great for basic functions. running batches, match P.O's etc. Preferred for low rise developments

Could definitely use an update. would love to see improvements on the reporting side.
