The price point, the ease of use, the customer support, the integration of the features we need into our team's current work methodology, the ability to import our own subs and also solicit unknown subs.

Certain details such as being able to view in the sent report exactly who the correspondence was sent to - be it for a bid invite or an addendum notification, inability to see RSVP/status of bid invites sent to each contact under the same company - only shows that of the primary contact, and the inability to see a copy of correspondence sent from Pipeline via our estimating email address in our estimating account's sent folder - makes it difficult to forward them if needed, are really my only critiques thus far.

I have tried the competition. There is honestly no comparison. As a company - I feel man hours are saved on the bidding in - because every bit of info we need is all in one place. Pipeline is a great tool for sending out notices, RFI's, etc as well as a place to promote the project with initial drawings and specs.

Ease of Use. If you can point and click with a mouse - you can become a pro and organizing your projects and staying on top of your sub participation. Accountability with Subs. We have used tools in Pipeline that have helped us solve disputes with subcontractors in terms of drawings and notices they have received. It will keep you on the forefront to know what sub participation you have for each project, and a subs percentage of response/number of times they actually turn in a bid. Did I mention customer service is bar none?

I'm still hopefully waiting on a shareable V-card of subs.

Quick to send ITBs out and create projects

No Android App! Countless times I'm reviewing coverages or needing to send out notices while out of the office. Going to the webpage on a mobile device is a waste of time and I end up having to wait to get to a computer.

I like the organization of all trades of who is bidding and who is not to focus on the ones bidding. Also I like how you can send notices and files to selected groups.

I wish the database was more accurate and complete.

Pipeline is definitely one of the best solutions out there in my opinion. The ability to manage and see every interaction (with time/date stamps) along the process is very beneficial. It is simple to use and intuitive so that makes bringing people up to speed easy. Overall we are very pleased with Pipeline.

I like that the program is web based, this helps make it possible to access on the go. Also we don't have to have our subcontractors download any software or set up any logins. Ease of access and use is a major plus.

We sometimes have difficulty with the invites not going through to our subs. Certain companies have increased security measures on their email and getting the messages through can be difficult.

We are sold on Pipeline Suite. We researched numerous products to help us solicit bids. No company was so responsive as Pipeline and no company exceeded our expectations, and continues to do so, like Pipeline Suite!

We are a general contractor who has been around 75 years and we have been soliciting bids pretty much the same way for all that time. We really didn't realize what a colossal waste of time and effort our old system was until we started using Pipeline Suite. We used to try to get plans and specs to our subs and suppliers by email, on dropbox, by fax or even by snail mail. Now we just click on the star to add them to our project and they have access to all the project information. Our subs and suppliers love it. I head comments like, "If more contractors did this I wouldn't have to pay for an online plan service". Keeping track of all the sub contractors for each trade. Sending out bids, You can see who opened the E mails. Sharing files is much easier then any other products I have used. The customer support from Pipeline Suite is great they make sure your needs are taken care of. I learned to like Pipeline suites as a sub contractor for another contractor.

People get so many E mails that most get ignored. That has nothing to do with Pipeline, its just that our E mails have been spammed so much its become not effective.

I have been using this program since starting my postition here over three years ago. Customer support is great if you have questions, the software itself is being updated regularly with new and useful features.

A new user can get setup and understand the basics in a matter of minutes. We can share large amounts of data across multiple different software programs with hundreds of potential subcontactors in a matter of minutes.

I can't think of any drawbacks other than the price, not that the price is bad but, whou wouldn't want to pay less?

Daily management of ITB's. Vendor database.

The ability to be able to track ITB notices. I can not count the amount of times that we have needed to prove that the ITB was delivered and that it was opened. Armed with this information we are able to manage or vendors and suppliers.

Most of my issues with the software I just call up and explain it to the customer service. They are always available and helpful.

Running reports for subcontractors who have not been used in awhile is cumbersome. Updating subcontractor database is time consuming.

Great experience - easy to get a project set up in the system, select the vendors we wanted to send an ITB to, and then let Pipeline Suite do the work. Could then track who was looking at, who was bidding, send out added info. Worked really well.

Inexpensive and easy to use. Pipeline Suite met our needs and accomplished what we needed to solicit bids and track contacts.

PipelineSuite is one of the most user-friendly software programs that I have encountered. As a new company with limited resources, we were looking for a streamlined approach to manage our bidding process. Having the ability to provide our bidding contractors access to all project information from plans and specs to bidding instructions, notices and RFIs has saved each of us immeasurable amounts of time. Being web-based provides an added accessibility benefit.

The one thing that I've noticed is the occasional difficulty getting notices through to our subcontractors' Inboxes, but once the emails are identified as being friendly, it all works out.

It's easy to use to manage subcontractor information. Sending links to plans and specs. Being able to see who is or is not bidding a project.

It's all easy and good. There isn't really anything that I don't like.

My subcontractors have been giving Pipeline high praise. For ease of use and the reliability of the subcontractor portal. They say they have had negative experiences with other such websites. I’m also benefiting by association in that the subcontractors believe Pueblo has “its act together” because we are employing this service.

I rated this website/software high for ease of use, but don't mistake that for not needing training. You need to invest time to train and build it out. Once that initial investment of time is done, it's pretty low maintenance to maintain it.

Pipeline does just what we need and all their demo promised. We are able to prepare an ITB in minutes instead of hours. The learning curve was non-existent. We were able to load our vendor database and be up and running almost immediately. Our vendors tell us it is the best they see, and they see a lot of different invitations. Our logo is front and center and easy to recognize. We are in control of our database, and it is not shared with our competitors. Selecting vendors is quick and easy and can be duplicated for similar projects, which saves time and effort. We compared four software solutions and chose Pipeline. I'm glad we did.

The hardest thing was to prepare our database for uploading. Pipeline was a great help in making this as easy as it could be.

Overall this has made it easy to keep track of the subcontractors who bid often with us. It also is a great "filing system" for sub bids. It's makes sending invites easy, whether it's to a group, or individual. Notices are also a great way to communicate with groups by trade, everyone except "no's" etc.

As a new user, there are tutorial videos to watch which was really helpful to me, since company training was not available

I think switching over from the old version to the new version i didnt like. but now i enjoy the new version.

We are a SDVOSB General Contractor and had been using a fax-based program for bid invites. After much research, I found Pipeline Suite, did the FREE demo, and I'm sold! A few of the highlights are that we don't have duplicates anymore, the cost is much more effective, bidders have the ease of responding online as well as updating their information saving us a lot of time on the admin side of things. Our sales rep Rick has been amazing and is always just a quick email away if we have questions. He responds immediately and has always solved any problems we had. I highly recommend Pipeline Suite.

I have been in Construction from the 1990's, and this is one of the best tools that I have in the estimating field. The customer support is better than competitors and the Support Team will take a time to get to know you and your business.

I wish they had a bid board so Contractors could view any open jobs in their area to see about getting more work. (just a thought, you all could get something like Team viewer to have a secured login to the customers PC so you could do almost a hands on training!!!!!)

Our favorite feature of Pipeline is its ability to track subcontractor activity without requiring a complicated login process. That feature saves us many follow up calls to check on progress while at the same time allowing us not to overburden subs to be part of the program.

The addition of a new vendor after the request has been sent out is a little cumbersome.

I can't speak highly enough for the Pipeline Suite. It has completely streamlined our invitation process. Within a few short days of implementing the suite I honestly couldn't see doing it any other way. From sending out the invitations, to tracking responses, to sending our supplemental bid information this suite cannot be beat. Very pleased!

Would like more latitude in the ability to customize the sub lists. And they desperately need a mobile app.

It's easy to set up and user-friendly.

There should be an easier way to add vendors to the invite list. Make a search and add function.
