Planhub has been useful in capturing projects across the nation from $200k to $3.5 Million and everything in between.

Planhub is useful tool whether your are bidding on a local project (example D.M.V.) or out of state. We get to meet tons of new sub contractors to help us win bids. It's easy to setup project whether it is union/non-union, phased/regular hours etc...

There should be a way to view local subs that have viewed the projects when searching for people who have downloaded the project files.

This is a great information source. Captures and notifies us of upcoming projects.

Easy to use. Everything that I need to bid in one place. Solid contact information.

Projects often come up with short lead times.

One big scam , we have other estimating software that is cheaper and easier to work with.

Nothing they convinced one of our ex colleges to sign up and never used and they are billing us after 2 years

Everything they let people sign in who don't have the authority and then keep on billing us indefinitely . They sended emails to the old owner and old co worker !!! One big scam !!!

We have used Planhub for over a year now and have found that we are reaching many subs that we may not have reached otherwise in the bidding phase of our projects. It is easy to use and doesn't take much time to build a new project.

The GC side of this product is free. It's reach has found us many bidders that we were not previously reaching. It is easy to use when building out new projects.

The "messaging" is difficult to use. Questions and answers do not stay together as a conversation. Also, the folders do not allow us to keep our files together in an organized way (like sub-folders). Also, subcontractors do not have access to my email address and frequently call the office to see where to send bids to. Also, it would be nice if it were possible to "copy" the trades/scopes needed from a previously built project when we have multiple projects that are basically the same but in different locations.

It cost money to bid on jobs I've been invited to bid on by the GC's.

This could be a way better site. Projects are never updated with awarded CM or GC's. And there are usually more GC's bidding but they are never put on there. You find our an award was handed out after the job has already started. It seems like they are put on the site and just forgotten about. When you ask for updates, nobody gets back to you. Very frustrating and disappointing for small to medium customers like us that could use a jump ahead of the bigger companies. May cancel my subscription.

I was not happy, I couldn't land one job, all concrete jobs seemed very small, and most GC contractors had already won the job but shopping the project all over again and again and after a while seemed like they were not serious or professional at all.

I'm tired of getting so many email about the same projects- updates- addendums - ect.. But we as a user must reply bidding or not bidding. Toi the GC firm give us the time of day to respond back if we are the awarded contractor. If our bid is competitive to get the quote work.. Even if they don't get the bid. They could use this software to let us know. Therefore PlanHub.. Give us..the people who pay for this service, the ability to block your email listing for a GC- job types- ect . It should be our chice , not an email blast from your firm for coverage

I am not real please with the product I am paying for. Strongly considering dropping this product.

Everything I try to do has a 3 to 6 second delay every time I click my mouse. I didn't have that problem before PlanHub bought it from my previous provider. I used to get updates daily as to who(GC) was awarded the project. I no longer receive that information. I have other things I don't like about it either, but It would take to long to discuss.

We are bidding three times as many jobs as we were before using PlanHub. It is so simple to navigate and download the correct documents.

-Easy to use -Easy to download documents -Not as expensive as other bid software -Visually appealing

-Sometimes the documents are out of order or not labeled a way that is easy to read -Not all GCs are listed

The nice thing about this is that since this is free to use (for most subcontractors) the subcontractor database is rather large. It's helpful for obtaining more coverage for hard bid and negotiated projects.

I like that there's a wide variety of subs to access and reach out to.

Lack of ease of use; efficiency issues; does not have functionality to save category selections as templates; doesn't save or show history of "Post Update" notes so it's difficult to keep track of what's been communicated and when. Activity and Status Tracking: It would be very helpful to be able to "print" or download selected subcontractor lists as CSV files ( with Columns for Company Name, TRADE or Division, Contact Name, Contact E-mail, Contact Phone Number) rather than as a PDF document.

The customer service was terrible. Their solution to my issue was for me to change our standard operating procedure instead of offering some kind of interest or resolution to my concerns. When a paying customer tells you about an problem that is going to keep them from renewing their subscription, the best customer service approach is to try to change the software to add a feature dealing with this issue. Planhub asked us to make a change to find a way around our concern. I am not going to pay for a service that is giving away our pricing to anyone that signs up and I'm sure many other subcontractors would feel the same way.

This software is very easy to use without any kind of tutorial needed.

Our quotes on Planhub are viewable to any contractor that connects to a project. We are selective about who is allowed to know our pricing for 2 reasons: we only work with select contractors and we would like to keep our pricing out of the hands of our competition. When I talked to customer service about this privacy issue I was asked to change how I quoted projects instead of given an actual solution from the developers .

The plan hub plateform is easy to use. The difficulty is the users and how they setup their projects.

This project is simple to use and easy to navigate to your project.

The way project files are listed in projects make looking through documents difficult. Files are not organized alphabetically or numerically. You can also get download issues on documents.

No issues with Plan Hub, we do get alot of Plan Hub Updates on projects. Not an issues but maybe there is a way to just send the updates to the folks that are bidding or have downloaded the plans.

Ease of use, very user friendly. Contains almost all the project details you would need to know.

Not much negative to say at this point, its a good system, just when you bid you are not sure how many others you are up against for the project.

Not being able to add email addresses to company profiles

I am able to see all of my bids on one page.also I know when I submitted them and the date I sent them and to whom.

The software is easy to use but still learning what it can do.

The subcontractor response that we receive through PlanHub is above all others. We are constantly adding new contractors to the company through bids we received. In smaller and more remote regions of the country, PlanHub consistently performs.

The project set-up is cumbersome, trade selection should be based on CSI industry standards, and documents need to be categorized in organized folders so they can be easily understood and accessed. it would also be nice to be able to assign an estimator instead of defaulting to the logged in user. It would be helpful if the bid lists were exportable into Excel so they can be managed better internally and shared with others.

This site lets us look at multiple listings that we don't always get emails from.

This site is not very user friendly. Also, EliteProNet would notify us when a project was awarded. PlanHub does not.

Having multiple offices, the coverage across multiple states

Not catching all general contractors bidding on a project.

We've had a great experience with PlanHub. There is no doubt in my mind that we've been awarded jobs that we never would have had the opportunity to bid on.

The software is definitely user friendly and the support staff is friendly and helpful
