Hynes Project pro
software is easy to use logged in when not in the office. It is easy to train a new hire to use.
CONSnot able to deleted features that we do not use. Cost extra to add new features that are not in use

Customizable Construction Accounting
The best part is the ability to make custom tools and reports for use within the program. Every business is unique and has unique needs. Customization helps dial in business processes.
CONSAs with any customization, sometimes it takes several rounds of discussion to get things right. It can also be nerve-wracking when a Microsoft update breaks customizations that have been deployed.

Are you a construction company, using Business Central? You need ProjectPRO!!
Overall, our experience with ProjectPRO has been a positive one. We have not had that many down days, and when we do, ProjectPRO works as quickly as possible to get us back up and running the next business day. They are easy to get ahold of, and answer emails quickly.
PROSWe love the fact that we are able to split up our Jobs into individual Task Lines, and Material Planning.We also love the fact that you work with, or offer the View Job Scheduler.
CONSThat is built on Microsoft BC and thus inherits all the things we do not like about BC.Slowness and table locking being the big contributors to the CON here.It would be nice if ProjectPRO built all their tasks into job queues (or gave the end user the option to do so), so that requests are handled, instead of throwing errors that the job could not be completed due to a table lock, which then forces our employees to redo all that they had done before only to see if the system will allow them this time, if not rinse and repeat.
Reason for choosing ProjectPro
Once we made the decision to use Business Central, we have not found too many alternatives that work with Business Central the way that ProjectPRO does. It is a natural extension of BC, which makes it difficult sometimes to know if BC is acting up, or it is ProjectPRO.
Reasons for switching to ProjectPro
We did not see that AcuBuild will allow us to grow as much as Business Central in terms of automation.

ProjectPro Super Software
Since our recent ProjectPro upgrade, we have had to request ProjectPro modify some AIA G702s that do not calculate correct amounts. System is not carrying over the previous billing accurately. However, they have responded quickly and accurately fixed the issues each time.
PROSProjectPro is easy to use and integrates with other software that we use. The AIA Billing process that ProjectPro offers is critical to our business and it tracks partial billings building off past billings. The ProjectPro Job card view with Fact Boxes offer quick view information; adding the Task line view as part of the job card is a plus.
CONSWe had to have our own report customized to provide the information that we need on a job basis.

ProjectPro For Construction
My favorite part of this software is the Job Costing functionality and the ease of use. Technical support is also next to none.
CONSNo specific downside to this application. The cost might be a factor but you can always negotiate with the vendor.

Job Costing made easy
The support staff is amazing. They are more than helpful. Not only do they pass on their knowledge skill and expertise but ensure your experience is pleasant and fulfilling.
PROSI enjoy the easy of moving from planning, budgeting, order fulfillment, billing, revenue rec and cost rec.
CONSI would like more mandatory populated fields.
