Some items, submittal approvals for example, seem to require the same information to be input multiple times to update the status of a submittal. All form records in ProjectTeam, including RFIs, can be locked at certain points in your workflow, but locking is optional and not required by the system. Many organizations choose to lock records at closure to preserve a clear audit trail and prevent unintended changes. That said, project administrators have the ability to unlock records if new information becomes available, allowing updates to be made without creating multiple iterations of the same RFI when it makes sense to do so.
