  • Pros

  • I really like that I can use it on my laptop or phone and switch between the two, plus the job-costing feature is fantastic.
  • This is the easiest program, it makes your job so easy and the customer service is outstanding. You can call anytime and they will walk you through anything you want to do.
  • Cons

  • That being said, it is more of a personal annoyance to me than a hindrance and I would not let this be a game stopper for anyone.
  • Some features can be added, e.g. California meal violation premium pay and Meal waiver (so there is no premium pay).
  • Pros

  • Another feature I like a lot is the Favorites Bar. Spectrum is very broad and the Favorites Bar makes it very easy to quickly assess certain features of Spectrum that are specific to your role.
  • It's practical, there are a lot of short cuts that can be used like starring your favorite menus items. The reporting options are great.
  • Cons

  • We are either forced to switch to the cloud and pay a significantly higher price each year or miss out on all of the new features of Spectrum.
  • Clunky interface, if you don't know exactly where and how to access a particular tool it can be difficult to determine the pathway.
