Overall experience has been great. We haven’t felt left on an island and received a great amount of support as we become more familiar with the software.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

We have been pleased working with Ressio! We are most pleased with their support and the ability to schedule time to review any issues we have and confirm we are set up for success. They have been a crucial part of our success as we integrate with QuickBooks for the first time.

#### Cons

The only con is integrating with QuickBooks, but we see that as our issue. Ressio has been there to help us set everything up to make it smooth and gone above and beyond with what they needed to do to help us.

#### Reasons for switching to Ressio Software

We needed something easier to use and back to basics. Builder Trend started to become too much with too many bells and whistles. We needed a simple software to properly help us manage construction projects.

### Fantastic Modern All in One GC Platform

I like that Ressio streamlines both internal workflows and the client-facing experience. Clients can see real-time project status, budget information, drawings, project photos, and messages without needing a complicated account setup. The project management tools and AI assistant are also strong differentiators. Overall, Ressio has been a great fit for what modern general contractors actually need. It is user-friendly, practical, and brings together several functions that are often spread across multiple tools. The platform offers strong value, thoughtful functionality, and excellent support from the account management team. Highly recommend.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Ressio is intuitive, modern, and easy to use. It brings estimating, subcontractor bidding, project management, and client communication into one platform. The client dashboard is especially strong, and the pricing is very competitive for the functionality.

#### Cons

There is still a learning curve, as with any robust platform, but their account managers do a great job helping clients onboard and optimize how they use the system.

#### Reasons for choosing Ressio Software

The cost of Buildertrend was very high. Sales process was not positive - pressure sales, etc.

#### Reasons for switching to Ressio Software

Did not have subcontracting functionality, nor project management or a client facing portal.

Excellent. From day one demos to onboarding and over a year of support. Its been great. I still have regular calls with our customer rep.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Estimating tool and the ability to produce fast, accurate, professionally organized estimates and proposals. The customer service and team at Ressio are super supportive and motivated to create the best platform for builders.

#### Cons

Summary level data for estimates is not there. Need to be able to review and analyze a cost estimate by more than categories of work. Need to look at all cost types as a whole to understand better how markups and O&P should be considered to maintain competitiveness. I have to export the estimate to excel to do this analysis, and then make edits and then export again, etc. etc. Very challenging for us to get the budget tools functional and fully capable of tracking real labor costs, material costs and subcontractors costs relative to the budget. Quickbooks integration and setup has been difficult. Can only look at budgets at a cost-code level, where cost type is really important as well (i.e. labor, material, subcontractor).

#### Reasons for choosing Ressio Software

better fit for our line of work, young company with strong growth potential. Simple interface

### Built It Around Our Process, Not the Other Way Around

I implement construction software for a living, so I am hard on these platforms. The pattern I see over and over: a builder buys a tool, nobody documents the process behind it, and six months later they are paying for software that three people log into. Ressio avoided that here, and the training is the reason. Brian did not hand over a login and a help center link. He co-built the setup with us in live sessions, matched the configuration to how the work actually runs, and stayed responsive while we were in the middle of it. By the time we were done, the team could run it without me and without him. That is the bar. The platform itself holds up where it counts for residential builders and remodelers: estimates that build fast, change orders that get documented and billed, and a client portal that cuts down the "just checking in" phone calls. Value for money is straightforward. The change orders that used to walk out the door unbilled cover the subscription and then some. Bring a process, do the setup work, and this one sticks. Five stars.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Two things stand out, and one of them is not the software. First, the onboarding. I put builders on a lot of platforms. Most of them stall at week three because the team never gets past the login screen. Ressio did not do that. The crew was working real jobs in the system fast, and I did not have to babysit adoption. Second, change order capture. Verbal approvals are where remodelers bleed. Ressio makes documenting a change part of the workflow instead of a separate task nobody does at 7pm. Changes get written down, approved, and billed. The client-facing side does more work than people expect. Homeowners can see selections, approvals, and progress without calling the owner. That alone pulls hours a week off the owner's plate. Estimate creation is clean and fast. Line items build quickly and the estimate carries forward into the job instead of getting re-keyed. On Brian's training: this is the real value. He ran live working sessions, not recorded videos. We mapped the actual process first, then configured Ressio to run it. When questions came up mid-build, he answered same day. That is the difference between software you bought and software you use.

#### Cons

It is not plug-and-play, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you shelf-ware. Ressio expects you to bring a process. If your estimating, change order, and client communication workflows are not documented, the setup will surface that fast. That work is on you, not the software. I do not consider this a flaw. Every tool works this way, most vendors just hide it until month two. But a builder shopping for a magic button should know: map your process first, then implement. Budget the upfront hours honestly.

As a medium sized remodeling contractor I was searching for the right estimating/management software and came across Ressio. I did some research and requested a demo and was very impressed at how easy, intuitive and powerful it was. The cost was about 2/3 of what I was paying at Co-Construct. Once I purchased I had an amazing experience training with [sensitive content hidden]. [sensitive content hidden] is an amazing trainer and after about 7 training Zoom calls I feel that I can handle pretty much anything. If I had any questions they were anwered within hours!! I have also had really good feedback from clients about how great it is for collaborating on the project as a whole and even down to the smaller details. They enjoy the ease of use and information access which allows them to easily understand proposals, selections etc. I would highly recommend signing up with Ressio whether you are small, medium or larger contractor.

#### Cons

I love every aspect of Ressio-no reservations at all. I really don't think I have anything I don't like to be honest.

Overall experience has been outstanding. Their team listens, trains and continually seeks to improve based on feedback. One of the biggest highlights is that they will transition data from other software into their platform even for jobs in progress - no other competitor will do that.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

The premier Construction project management software on the market. User friendly for team members, clients and subcontractors. They have already surpassed competitors like CoConstruct, BuilderTrend, and Job Tread in terms of their capabilities. Very easy to use, great mobile compatibility, amazing schedule and selection management.

#### Cons

Can't say anything specific, they are continuing to improve everyday. One big capability coming out soon are dashboards for owners to track key metrics across the entire company.

#### Reasons for switching to Ressio Software

CoConstruct was not making any additional improvements since they were bought by BuilderTrend. Their capability became stagnant and didn't meet our future needs. We researched many different company extensively for about 6 months before we decided on Ressio. Best decision we have made - our team loves Ressio.

Using Ressio has been a definite upgrade from our former construction management software. Thus, our overall experience with the software and Ressio's team members has been great!

#### Pros

Ressio's graphic user interface (GUI) is very intuitive and easy to navigate. The Ressio team has put much thought into how to improve construction management software. For instance, when clicking a new item or description, Ressio opens a side window so that you can edit & update, while still seeing what tab you are working in. It is faster this way and easier to view. Additionally, our field team has informed us that the mobile version is an improvement from our old software. They find it easy to clock in and out each day and can view the specifications for a project. They are already utilizing this tool in the field much more than our old software.

#### Cons

We have not found very much that we dislike about Ressio. Overall, it is very good. If I had to pick one thing here, it is regarding exporting the timeclock data. When exporting the timeclock .csv file, I don't like how the data appears in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet needs some manipulation to easily view. For most builders, this won't be an issue though if they link to QuickBooks. It is also not really a problem to anyone who has knowledge of Excel.

#### Reasons for choosing Ressio Software

The others didn't have everything that we were looking for in a construction management software. Some software programs were only for "in-the-field" team members.

#### Reasons for switching to Ressio Software

BuilderTrend bought out CoConstruct and was forcing it's users to migrate to BuilderTrend. BuilderTrend is MUCH more expensive than CoConstruct was, and we didn't need all of their functionality. Thus, Ressio was/is a much better fit for our small company, and their subscription fee was much more competitive than BuilderTrend's fee.

#### Pros

In my experience, Ressio is a fantastic construction project management software. It's easy to use, even for people who aren't familiar with construction software. What really impressed me was the seamless integration with QuickBooks Online for budgeting. This makes it so much easier to track finances and keep projects on track. Another great feature is the real-time expense and profit tracking. This allows you to always have a clear picture of how your business is doing financially. The Ressio team is also top-notch. They were incredibly helpful during the onboarding process and are always available to answer questions. Overall, I highly recommend Ressio to any construction business owner looking for a user-friendly and feature-rich software solution.

Would like to have the ability to rename files, without download and re-uploading.
