Pros/Cons
Pros
- I like that you can produce great estimates with SAGE 300 which can help if you need to come up with projections and profits for your projects.
- If you are looking for a seamless transitions of your bidding/estimating to project management/collaboration/documentation and to the financials then this a pretty good solutions.
- You will not find a better product out there for reliability or ease of use, and it is so easy to tailor it to your business needs.
Cons
- Horrible software right now and also doesnt integrate with anyone. I think everybody has abandoned integrating with it as there are too many problems with it.
- Hard to navigate, customer support is horrible or maybe nonexistent.
- It also has a few technical difficulties and the customer service for this product is very inefficient.
Pros
- The functions are pretty easy to figure out and understand. The Clearview resource that comes with Viewpoint is an amazing source of information regarding functionality and capabilities.
- Great Software very up to date, easy to understand and learn and I have always had excellent Support.
- They have a good mix of younger and older experienced talent on their team and are willing to buy vs. build a better solution for their user community.
Cons
- The integration was very poorly done, and we are still experiencing problems related to poor set-up over a year later even though we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for Viewpoint specialists.
- But in the long run, they became their own worst enemy when they decided as a group to internally make the changes to the software they shouldn't have from the beginning.
- BTW, the renaming to Vista was a bad choice. MS Vista was the biggest operating system failure in history.
