### Rating distribution

- 4 stars: 986 reviews (23%)
- 3 stars: 142 reviews (3%)
- 2 stars: 22 reviews (1%)
- 1 star: 9 reviews (0%)

### Most mentioned pros

- In addition, the application is very convenient for performing a variety of common tasks including merging files, annotating, filling out forms, and signing documents digitally.
- You can also add one or more signatures that you create as if handwritten, recreating your physical signature, this is extremely useful for avoiding the need to print files, sign them, and then scan them again, which saves a lot of time and is one of its biggest advantages.
- It provided a dependable and comprehensive set of tools for working with PDFs, making document editing, sharing, and signing straightforward, though some advanced features were behind a subscription and could be resource-intensive.

### Most mentioned cons

- Moreover, the monthly subscription cost for the Pro version is very high, making it a heavy investment for a tool that is primarily used to view or make minor edits to documents.
- The biggest frustration is that essential PDF functions — such as merging documents and file format conversion — are locked behind a paid subscription.
- While Adobe Acrobat is an amazing product with a ton of great features, one downside I’ve encountered is the limitation in choosing fonts while editing PDFs.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

My company uses Adobe Acrobat daily. It allows us to easily store final versions of documents, forms, and policies as professional looking PDFs. It is easy to convert other types of files to PDFs - Word, Excel, etc., and even things like JPGs and Outlook emails. There is also a feature for digitally signing PDFs, which allows for paperless processes and record storage. I also appreciate the ability to combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF.

#### Cons

I don’t like how some of the menus use icons rather than the names of the menus. To me, some of these icons don’t accurately represent the purpose of the menus.

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very positive. A large part of my role involves project and task management, so having a reliable system that allows me to create, organise, review and share documents efficiently is invaluable. The range of customisation options means I can tailor the software to suit the specific requirements of my role, helping to save time and improve efficiency. Features such as file conversion, document editing, commenting and collaboration also make it easier to manage information, track changes and work with colleagues. Adobe Acrobat remains an important tool that supports the day-to-day delivery of my work and helps me manage tasks and projects more effectively.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Adobe Acrobat is easy to use and offers good value for money, especially as it brings together a range of useful document tools in one place. The file conversion feature is particularly helpful, making it quick and straightforward to convert documents to and from PDF without affecting the formatting. It is reliable, simple to navigate and makes everyday document tasks much easier.

#### Cons

One area that could be improved is customer support, as it can sometimes take a while to contact the support team and have technical issues resolved. Although Adobe Acrobat is generally reliable, occasional bugs or system issues can disrupt work, and resolving these can be time-consuming when support is not immediately available. However, the occurrence of system issues and bugs is very rare, so this is not a defining problem.

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been positive. It provides a secure, professional way to send, sign, and manage documents electronically, helping streamline client onboarding and contract execution. The platform is reliable, and I appreciate the ability to track document status and maintain a clear audit trail. It has saved time by eliminating paper-based processes and reducing delays in obtaining signatures. While the pricing has become increasingly expensive and some features could be more intuitive, Adobe Sign remains a dependable solution for businesses that prioritize security, compliance, and seamless document management.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Honestly I like the software’s ease of use as well as the fact that if the interface intended signors ignore, they will get a reminder based on my settings.

#### Cons

What I like least about Adobe Sign is the cost. Pricing has continued to increase over time, making it more difficult for small businesses to justify the expense. While the platform is reliable and integrates well with other Adobe products, many core features are locked behind higher-priced plans. The interface can also feel more complex than necessary for users who simply need to send and track documents for signature, resulting in a steeper learning curve than some competitors.

In my experience, most people use Adobe Acrobat simply to view PDF documents. But you can actually do SO much more on it! My clients and I use it daily for sending and receiving feedback, particularly utilizing the 'Comments' feature where we can @mention each other. Acrobat also provides several text editing features, including changing fonts, text color, kerning, adding bullet points and more.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I use it to sign digital documents, and to request e-signatures. Before using Acrobat, I would print out a document, sign it by hand, scan it, and then email it off.

#### Cons

I've encountered some performance issues, such as difficulty loading large files (particularly files with lots of images).

#### Reasons for switching to Adobe Acrobat

I have always requested e-signatures from my clients and I always had to send notifications through Gmail manually to the person who had not provided it within a few days. But Adobe automatically send them a reminder.

While the subscription cost and occasional performance demands can be drawbacks, the software’s functionality, stability, and wide range of features make it a dependable choice for managing PDF workflows.

#### Ratings breakdown

Overall, the experience with Adobe Acrobat is a mix of convenience and complexity. It provides a reliable, all-in-one solution for handling PDFs, with a wide range of tools that make creating, editing, and sharing documents efficient. The platform generally performs well and is trusted for professional use, but the interface can sometimes feel overwhelming, and certain features may take time to fully understand. While the cost may not suit everyone, the overall functionality and dependability make it a solid choice for those who regularly work with PDF documents. Alternatively, for smaller up-start businesses and those with a smaller budget, the free functionalities offered within Adobe Acrobat could suit the needs of those not needing the more complex features and functionalities of the software.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

What stands out most about Adobe Acrobat is how seamlessly it combines ease of use, powerful functionality, and strong value for the price. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to create, edit, and manage PDFs without a steep learning curve. At the same time, it offers a wide range of advanced features, like document conversion, e-signatures, and collaboration tools, that cover both basic and professional needs. Considering the depth of its capabilities, the pricing feels justified as a solution for individuals and businesses alike.

#### Cons

What can be frustrating about Adobe Acrobat is that, despite its powerful features, it doesn’t always deliver the best user experience or value. The interface can feel cluttered and unintuitive at times, especially for new users trying to navigate its many tools. While it offers a wide range of functionalities, some of them feel overly complex or unnecessary for everyday tasks. Additionally, the pricing can seem high compared to alternatives, particularly for users who only need basic PDF editing features.

Adobe Acrobat is a must for us since we work so heavily with pdf plans and specifications. While it's UI is sometimes frustrating, I find it does contain everything I need for my job. Absolutely let's put it all together so if I had to sum it up I'd say my whole experience with Adobe acrobat has been kind of expect on one hand you appreciate the customization options it offers for managing your projects and tasks but on the flip side there are a few hiccups sometimes the file conversion can be a bit finicky and you might run into the occasional bug overall it's a balance between having those flexible tools.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Adobe Acrobat blows me away with how intuitive it is for editing PDFs you're getting a ton of functionality without a huge learning curve in terms of value for money it's not the cheapest tool out there but you do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and advanced features and the customer support is definitely a plus.

#### Cons

Could be that sometimes it does feel a bit resource heavy which might slow things down on older systems and another thing is file conversion well it's usually pretty solid every now and then you might run into a hiccup or a format doesn't convert perfectly or there's a bit of a glitch it's not super common but it's something to keep in mind.

Overall, my experience with Adobe Acrobat has been very good. #### Ratings breakdown

One of the best features is how easily we can fill out PDF forms without any issues. Overall, I would definitely recommend it as a reliable tool for document handling and task management. Their e-signature feature is really great. We can easily send any document for signature, and the other party can sign it digitally without the need to print anything.

#### Cons

My overall experience with Adobe Acrobat has been absolutely magnificent. I have always used Adobe Acrobat all my life and have used it during school assignments, and even University.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Adobe Acrobat is being able to use it for Document Signing and being able to Edit PDFs. Acrobat has also been able help me with my Workflow Management and it being really easy to use. Also the User Interface of the Software itself has been great to work with. I believe that this is something I would spend money on. I believe it is worth it for the price.

#### Cons

I have not had any issues with Adobe Acrobat and have never called customer service. Sure maybe once or twice my PDF crashed on me but never enough for me to call customer support.
