In our case, there were some delays, which may have been due to our company name - GmbH & Co. Vertriebs KG - a type of company name with which tax offices abroad seem to have problems. This constellation has led to increased costs and increased time expenditure on our part. Registration times CZ - just under a month PL - just under 3 months IT - 4 months ES - 6 months FR - 7 months On the whole, we are satisfied with the result. Although we missed the Christmas business in 3 important countries, we probably started this project too positively. Based on our experience, however, we can draw the following conclusions. Without the experience of hellotax and the local partners, VAT registration in the various countries would only have been possible with a great deal of time and stress. hellotax has kept the real application stress and most of the queries away from us. We assumed 1-3 months! But now it's 7 months until the final registration of all 5 countries. Despite our initial good relationship with Hellotax, since December 2024 they have continued to direct debit our bank account despite failing to file our VAT data or address the technological issues with their online platform that have prevented us from paying our VAT to the appropriate tax authorities. This has led to us experiencing compliance issues with various tax authorities, as well as having to pay for the services of another VAT filing company despite the continued illegal direct debit of our bank account for their VAT filing services. DO NOT SIGN UP TO HELLOTAX. They are a fraudulent company engaging in theft and serious mismanagement.
