Pros/Cons
Pros
- The staff has been amazing and extremely helpful. They make you feel like you are there only customer and every issue large or small is handled and resolved promptly.
- That's where, I believe, "web-based" GIS has a big future and the good people at GovPilot have created a great tool that displays mapping data clearly to the public via a custom Internet web portal.
- The technical support is fantastic. If you can dream up the function and the work flow, the development team can build it.
Cons
- We have missing addresses/Block and Lots in the public map database they use. Missing properties must be added individually, which is tedious.
- In every category, there just seems to be to much information required. I also dislike that everything is addressed driven.
- As with any new system, the start-up was a bit frustrating working out kinks etc.
Pros
- I would recommend OnBoard to any of my peers. We don't touch nearly all of its capabilities, but so appreciate how easy it is to share information securely with our board members.
- We have had a great experience with the OnBoard team and the software. Support has been excellent and the product serves the purpose we intended for it.
- The ease of use for staff is what I like most about this software. They have done an excellent job of reducing redundancies.
Cons
- If there is an error with e-signatures, there is no "correcting" it, you have to delete whatever it is that you worked on and restart.
- The inability to use the gallery view is very disappointing and the sound/video quality is poor with the integration. It works will when Zoom is used separately however.
- All Adobe Acrobat bookmarks and markups including highlighting, comments, and added text are stripped out and lost when these documents are uploaded.
