It is used by other department heads, so there is no problem with misinterpretations. Everything the client needs to know about how we work for them is clearly stated and beautiful. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 5/5 - Value for money: 4/5 - Customer support: 4/5 - Functionality: 4/5 #### Pros Because it sends drafts and can have automatic reminder emails, there is reciprocal communication between both sides of the draft that you can have: clients have the ability to write reciprocal notes. It just makes everything very seamless and integrates with most of your customer relationship management programs. There are wonderful, stealthy measurement methods that we love. On your smartphone, you'll get alerts through the app when someone opens your proposal and has signed. You may also log into the app and see how often people are looking at your presentation. Therefore, the most appreciated feature is the enormous amount of time saved. If someone has used word processing programs like Word or Excel, they probably have a poorly developed mind. Proposify's purpose is excellent because there are visually appealing templates ready to use, it helps you save time and is visually pleasing. We received numerous comments from our clients when we sent them alternative proposals that we thought would look amazing. #### Cons The initial onboarding is wonderful, however, a little more love should be shown there. After payment has been made with Stripe, could clients receive a receipt? Most of our account reps work on their own financial documents in Microsoft Word. When they copy and paste it into Proposify, it looks terrible. Extra spaces added, and bullet points don't transfer. It's a headache to go back and clean up. I love the Stripe integration as well because sometimes I do not want to have to send clients a separate invoice after sending them the proposal. No incentive was offered It was meant to solve the problems we currently have like re-checking, updating the contracts for each client. But it seems nothing changed for better if not for worse. Even if you re-check, there is no 100% guarantee you've sent the proposal you initially wanted to send. #### Ratings breakdown - Ease of use: 1/5 - Value for money: 2/5 - Customer support: 1/5 - Functionality: 3/5 #### Pros I can talk only about the theoretical pros which they stated on their website, pricing plans etc., because, they are not tangible. Theoretically, you will be able to make one template with variables and you can forget about making a new proposal, contract from scratch and it should save you a lot of time. You just need to select a customer and the variables will do everything for you. #### Cons Each time when I create a template there almost 100% guarantee that the contract generated based on that template will be different. Text cropping in the generated proposal is a common thing and you need to re-check it every time you want to send it to the client. My frustration is based not on the fact that there is a bug, but on their support level. This happens to be my go to software for proposals. I have tried a number of other platforms but keep coming back to this one. They are doing a GREAT job of adding features right now, so I would definitely give this a shot. I used them about a year ago and it was cranky. They have made major improvements over the last year. They now have lots of templates that are usable with a variety of industries and purposes. The followup systems are much better and the editing functions are now a breeze. #### Cons Like any other software, it takes time to get to know it enough to be efficient. I am a learn-by-doing guy but this was not an easy ramp up. There are packets of services and products that you should propagate before you begin your process. Be sure to take the time to go through all the training or you will waste a lot of time.
