I like the integration with Autotask as well as Connectwise and its ability to push data to Quickbooks.

Dashboard notification options are very limited to just two integration programs and not for overall quoted work. No Service Operations Automation or Order management.

When we had questions, Quotewerks support was always there to help guide us.

My biggest gripe is that I still can't import my Dell proposals it really makes it difficult to have to cut and paste each quote I get from Dell.

The ease of use and various integrations are some of it's strongest features.

We are all able to see and have access to each others quotes, which is helpful when someone is out of the office.

The ability to change the templates and the customer service is outstanding.

I can one-click fulfill multiple orders so getting the stuff to my clients is a snap too. That's all great, but the BEST part about QW is their support.

The user interface is so flexible with such great customizable templates which are different too. There are live updates to prices from vendors.

We have been using QW for many years because of its ease of use. Aspire never stops making this product better and their support team is fantastic.

I also like the fact that the quotes are securely delivered and can be accepted and paid through the email. It integrates with our merchant services so we can take deposits upon acceptance.

Lots of areas to get lost, many sub menus. Might take some time to get up to speed if you haven't used it before.

I don't think I've even begun to scratch the surface of what this software can do. It's definitely worth the time to get it up and running.

The software makes it very easy to copy and paste information as well as edit where appropriate. An easy to understand gauge of cost/sales price and profit% allows for simple cost and profit tracking.

Its integration with PSA tools is top notch. Its ease of online quoting and ordering make this a great product to use.

QW saves up time and money. The ability to change template designs to meet each customer is terrific.

It's really a great quoting tool. It works well with ConnectWise, and its ability to export to Excel is great.

Quotewerks is a great tool, and will soon integrate with our new CRM, making it very useful.

QuoteWerks makes the ability to quickly send a prospect/customer a quote in a matter of minutes as well as the ability to track the quote with QuoteValet.

You are free to create and use the quoting software in the way you would like and works best for your company. I've been using this since 2012, and it's been getting better and better.

We also export .xml files and import them into warehouse management system via edi. Ease of use was also very important to our purchase decision.

The QW tech support people are top knotch professionals.

The tool is a little outdated in look and it does crash at times.

Thought QuoteWerks was very unstable and lacked many features that a quoting program should include.

The application is very easy to navigate through and has a very nice and reliable customer support. I like how it helps me to quickly create quotes, proposals and send them instantly to customers.

QW was also recommended to us by our ACT consultant who was familiar with our business. The online QW demo and videos were great at showing the ease of use of the product too.

The software is easy enough to use. Great for quoting projects.

Inability to synch said data with our business system (BusinessVision) and CRM (Zoho).

I think the system is not integrated well with Connectwise.

Ability to get quick approvals through online approvals.

The finished products always look great. I like that we are able to highly customize our quotes with ConnectWise Sell.

Can't always trust etilize search and pricing. Basic missing functionality.

With CWSell formerly Quosal , you have templates to choose from when formatting your quotes, this make building simple quotes easy.

In addition there is no clear answer on how parts are created within CW or Sell and how those work between the system. The admin functionalities are very weak.

Slow to create templates, software is buggy and temperamental. Very difficult to format professionally.

In addition the reporting is awful. What sale program can show you a report for how many sales were won in a month, week, day...its very frustrating.

Also, I find myself struggling within the fields if it’s a large quote with a lot of products.

The QUOTE button on the Opp page still does not work, FYI.

It creates beautiful quotes that look so professional.

We get comments all the time about how great our quotes look. Definitely an improvement from our last quoting tool.

It’s super easy to use Love manage integration.

It works fairly well for what it is supposed to accomplish.

Tight integration with Connectwise and Real-time lookups for pricing and product availability make Connectwise Sell very powerful.

End user input is critical for accurate reporting. Not good as a stand alone option, so quite pricey when taking the complete ConnectWise package.

The product screens are vague they do not mirror the connectwise product screens. Which can make it difficult to work with.

I like the etilize feature to pull in product and descriptions from distributors, as well as the quote format and the ability to approve online.

Also, I find it soooooo frustrating to have an error in Quosal, but will not tell  the cause!!!  For example, our ConnectWise Admin selected some products to make inactive.

Support is generally helpful and effective in solving issues. The biggest return on the investment has been in improving consistency and efficiency in quoting.

The interface to distribution is good, real time on hand, pricing works great. Administration capability is strong.

ConnectWise Sell is easy to use and we can quickly get a professional quote out the door with Sell. Sell has streamlined the process from customer approval to ordering.

Lots of capabilities but requires a good bit of training.

The integration with Connectwise Manage as well as the user friendly web portal for clients are the some of the best features of Sell.

If it's not in ConnectWise is hasn't happened is still very alive at TriTech, so we need ConnectWise Sell so the data is all in one place, it make us look smarter than we sometimes are.

Worst of all that we tested; expensive and incompetent.

Setup was pretty easy and we have been able to modify our templates without a hassle. The integration with our vendors makes setting up quotes a snap.

Also, we have no way of calculating commission correctly.

Beautiful easy to use web based interface, integrates with other systems. Overall very happy with the product.

ConnectWise CPQ (formerly ConnectWise Sell) is a quote and request for proposal solution suitable for businesses of all sizes. Primary features include quote and proposal, product sourcing, workflow automation and sales reporting.


It allows users to create proposal presentations from pre-built templates, in which they can enter product information, pricing, agreements and more details. Users can attach supporting documents, store credit card information, capture e-signatures, update their customer relationship management (CRM) system and create interactive video proposals.
