Pros/Cons
Pros
- I just migrated to Active Campaign about a month ago. It came highly recommended to me, and it's clear that A.C. has a lot of amazing features that can grow with me over the years.
- I use the application to run campaigns through promotional mail, i like the ability to send mail to all mailing list, and ability to schedule posts online makes it best for.
- Excellent integration with lead tracking and tagging and easy to set up automation and triggers to help you stay on top of your analytics.
Cons
- The email editor is rather clunky and can be frustrating at times, especially with regard to the "undo" function. The image selector/inserter is also terrible.
- I found it really frustrating when I had a problem with one of my automation and there was no resource available in a timely manner.
- Sometimes, speed and agility can be an issue. When in the interface with multiple templates and graphics may come hard for your pc, and the site may look a bit exhausted and lagging.
Pros
- I liked that it was fairly easy to set up, and there were a lot of "how to" guides available. I like that this is well supported.
- It's definitely a great business email solution and I would recommend this to others. This is well suited for marketing emails and is simple to use after just setting it up once and off you go.
- Amozen ses is cheapest and very good for deliverity in email space. Their free tier is also generous and their pricing is very pocket friendly.
Cons
- There are silent limits to SES that need to be lifted by reaching out to support. This is both a reasonable step to combat spam, and a frustrating discovery for those with legitimate intentions.
- Once, the SES service was hijacked by external intruders and used to send spam. Amazon currently has no way to rotate keys / passwords, and so this creates an extra burden for users.
- Handling bounces and complaints could have been better. Currently one has to configure Amazon SNS for bounces and complaints.
