Zendesk Sell (formerly Base) is the web and mobile-based customer relationship management (CRM) application that allows B2B and B2C sales professionals to manage sales, track leads and engage proactively with customers from anywhere. The system features a standalone sales automation module with options for integrated channel management and web self-service capabilities.

Zendesk Sell (formerly Base) enables sales teams to capture, organize and properly track leads. Sales personnel can funnel leads from multiple sources including websites, spreadsheets or any marketing platform. Users can track sales and have full visibility into the sales pipeline with robust sales reporting feature.

Sales team leaders can monitor sales process by managing regions and teams through Base. Users can establish and monitor quotas and goals for specific teams and reps, all via smartphone or other mobile devices.

Zendesk Sell (formerly Base) has native applications for iOs, Android and Windows phones. The solution can also integrate with MailChimp. A free two-week trial is available, and the system and is suitable for small to midsize companies across most industries looking for a mobile CRM solution.

An efficient selling agent

Pros

We are happy to claim that we really like Base CRM service. We deeply appreciate an automated full-funnel analytics, which provides a detailed analysis of sales level. It is very important for us because it gives an opportunity to estimate the working process completely. What is more, the service offers filtering options for different needs and leads to your system. Base CRM service is designed to control, analyze and perform the selling process. Its main goal is to help sales managers to sell more and do it efficiently with less effort. In addition, service all necessary reports and metrics in order to follow the selling progress.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are some small things that should be fixed and improved. Firstly, due to some reasons deals and contacts are separated outside of sharing a connection. This separation causes a discomfort because you need to pull contact information that is based on deals in your pipeline. Moreover, it is even annoying a little. Another idea is that the service too slow when you need to open more than one thing.

An application with strong potential

Pros

The details of the user interface are very well chosen, the placement is good, nothing distracts me from my work and only what I need is visible. The list of internal working tools is good, there is everything I’m used to working with, I like it. Unlike the previous ones, here our team can exercise full control over sales and be aware of everything that can be important and useful for us. The overall speed of our work has increased due to the fact that now we spend much less time on processing our projects. We prudently distribute this time to other tasks that affect us only from the positive side. We felt these were reassigned in just three weeks.

Cons

I have been working with the application for several months already and for the whole time I have noticed only one small problem on which I would like to focus my attention. Its essence is that the program is not very powerful when it comes to simultaneous work on several processes. Fortunately, nothing got lost even once, but the process itself slowed down, which at first bothered me a little. In the end, you can not worry about malfunctions.

The most effective and useful CRM

Pros

In order to establish the sales process we used several accounting software. The most effective and useful was Base CRM. Thanks to this program our sales representatives and management have the opportunity to track transactions and sales together, forecast sales and create reports based on a smart funnel. In general, the program performs many useful functions well. It provides all information about contacts including transactions, documents, notes, and tasks. Saves the entire history of contacts with the client: calls, letters, notes. I can recommend the program to those who want to put things in order in their business, to make it more efficient and larger.

Cons

Sometimes the program runs very slowly, and the data load takes a long time. I did not notice any more problems.

Flexible and simple CRM-system

- the ability to make calls from CRM;

Using all these functions, you can bring your sales to a new level. The program has all the necessary analytics and functionality for a successful business. Also, program integrates with other necessary services and applications but integration sometimes causes problems. It may take a long time or fail. It all depends on the service with which you want to integrate CRM. I hope soon developers will eliminate this problem."

Cons

One of the drawbacks of the program is that sometimes there are problems with reporting and you can get not quite correct data. But it happens very rarely. I would like to improve the integration with other programs and services necessary for high-quality work.

I highly recommend you to try Base CRM and to implement it in the daily working process

Pros

I really like new features of Base CRM, for example, smart emails, calls, and notifications. Also, the way you can get all the necessary insights, how flexible is Base CRM and how easy you can implement it to every use, all these features are amazing and make work with this platform a pleasure. The support team is also very good and friendly, it always wants to help you to solve all your problems and are online 24/7.

Cons

When I sometimes need more than one Base CRM to be opened at the same time, it starts to slow down. Also, It was hard first 2 or 3 days to get used to this program and to understand how things are working and, of course, to learn all the features and how to get more benefits from them.

Former User, Would use again

I think I well described it above but it was always positive. I loved connectivity through different regions with closers and it truly made scheduling easier.

Pros

We used base software when setting leads for Solar appointments. There was a really nice connectivity between me and the closers when I was using base. I love the idea that I can put notes on homes and have connectivity that I normally would not have had when we were using the paper method we used to use. I can slip appointments in between already scheduled appointments, just a solid product overall.

Cons

In relation to sales rabbit and other sales softwares, I loved the ability to see homes more clearly, I thought that was one thing I didn't have as much with base, it was still better in other ways though that outweighed the pros that sales rabbit brought. I would take this still over any other sales appointment software and calendaring out there.

Pros

I implemented and used Base

Very pleased with Base. Good software and good people supporting it.

Pros

It has robust capability and is rather easy to learn how to use. Even with minimal time invested in training you can get a lot of use from the tool.

Cons

There are some navigational thing that are not intuitive to use. They work but you have to learn how to move around the way that they designed it.

Base is a solid foundation

Great product. Simply CRM for any small and large company.

Pros

I love Base and have used them for years! They have a very solid web and mobile application that does exactly what you need it to do, track sales! Its super easy and one that I was drawn to early in my sales career because it was so easy to get started.

Cons

I would love the ability to test more of their newer apps on a trial basis. Right now it is invite only.

Good CRM for small comapnies

Pros

I've used this CRM for my own company, which is one-man business. It was useful in managing all my clients contacts, deals etc. The mobile version is nicely done so nothing was annoying at all.

Cons

Actually I haven't used this in a big group so don't really know how it will be working with big amount of data. Didn't find anything wrong so far.

My favorite CRM

Pros

Base has taken away all the manual entry that sales reps complain about. The mobile app is excellent and allows the sales reps to instantly update their activity, accounts, and pipeline.

Cons

They should continue to look at integrating their system into more software programs that will add value to a sales reps and business capabilities, while keeping Base a very sales a focused program.

Great CRM for the Value

Pros

I had the opportunity to utilize base CRM while working with a project partner for about 6 months. In my time, I found that the solution was very intuitive, user-friendly, easy to navigate, and provided a wealth of integrations for touch points to make your way down the sales pipeline.

Cons

The cost of the product can be somewhat burdensome at the higher levels and the lower levels provide quite a few options. I think a middle ground for small to medium sized organizations would be great!

Close the deals and control them in one place

Pros

In our company, we must not only sell the product to people but also continue to support them all the time after that to prevent any complaints and to make sure that the same clients will return to us again and again. And Base CRM allowed us to keep the relationship with the clients for sales and for supporting in one place but for separate groups of people with different access to the certain profiles. So from one side, the sales manager see only those things that he need to see while support manager also does not get useless information for him.

Cons

I cannot say anything bad about this CRM system because I have everything that I need to work with my customers, nevertheless some additions may be added here, for example, while loadings of different pages the system can show to the users some sales advices or something like this.

Very good tool if you are an independent sales rep.

Complete customization for your needs pertaining to your industry & customers and allows you to input as much information as you would like.

Cons

Actually, I can't say that I don't like the platform. it was a very useful tool when I was an independent rep. I was not a huge fan of the way you could link your phone to a number provided by BASE but that is just a personal preference. I like people seeing my number on their phone when I call instead of a "dummy" number.

Keeping the team up to date with the latest information

This CRM has everything I need, including a solution for targeted, personalized emails. Email tracking is great. The email integration helps to keep all things housed in one place. Also, we can see when leads open our emails, and which links they clicked. Base CRM is used across all our departments for sales forecasting and pipeline management. I guess it is very wonderful software with a great opportunity for business. Here you will found everything for marketing goals.

Cons

It would be great if the mobile application were more user-friendly. It's not bad, but not so much that our team enjoyed it with pleasure, so we do not use it very much, which keeps us more on our laptops and desktops.
