Bad Business

I have been a Big Purple Dot customer for a few years. It is, in my opinion, a basic CRM where I am able to put my notes and scheduled my follow up calls. I was on a "Free" trial that ran its course for about a year - I kept on receiving service reminders and I simply responded that I was all set with the free platform. They looked further into my file and saw that I was not paying for their service and demanded that I sign up that day or my files will be emailed to me. With having my whole business in their platform, I reluctantly signed up. I got accustomed to Big Purple Dot but eventually, I outgrew it with my business and what kind of functionality that I wanted for my business. I would pay for the year upfront to receive monthly discounts and now that I have moved over to another more elaborate CRM system (KVCore) they are refusing a refund for the months that have not been used! I will not apologize that my business has outgrown their system but I shouldn't be penalized that to say that I had receive notice during my orientation when ultimately there wasn't one!
