BoomTown software


Boomtown provides marketing and sales automation solutions for the real estate industry. Through Boomtown, brokers can select and customize a lead generation website, track and nurture leads, and monitor team success and sales. The application is SaaS based and can be accessed from an iPad, smartphone, and a tablet.

The automated marketing tools create a way for brokers and agents to stay in touch with prospects and clients so that agents can nurture leads without having to manually track all interactions. The system automatically sends notifications regarding listing updates, so that agents can remain up-to-date with their markets.

Boomtown features advanced website analytics, allowing users to track a prospective buyer's or seller's movements and interactions across the site. Sales analytics include dashboards that can help managers monitor their team’s engagement. The tool allows users to customize their product website and add features like mortgage calculator, home value estimator, price history, property details and property maps.

    Comes with everything you need packaged into one platform. Simple to use and easy to setup. Can run automated to save some time.

    Websites don't allow much customization but are a great option for people who aren't comfortable coding or don't want to hire outside help.

    I was using it for approximately one year with a team, left and couldn't afford it on my own!

    Pros

    Very user friendly, great high level data on prospects. In your face dashboard that doesn't let you miss a beat. Phone app that functions great for people in the field!

    Cons

    The cost is one of the highest in the industry for CRM's and website but if you can afford it, it's the Cadillac.

    Boomtown keeps all of my database under one roof. It is easy to categorize my leads and tag my leads. I LOVE that you can bulk text and email after filtering your leads into a certain category or send a mass holiday text to all of your leads.

    Cons

    My only con about this software so far is the search function is an "and" search and not an "or" search. It is difficult to set up e-alerts for clients with specific criteria.

    Boomtown has given me an easy way to manage and track my progress, helping me save time and close more deals.

    Pros

    I love the ability to log a call or email through Boomtown so I can easily see who I need to follow up with, or the last time I spoke with someone. It has given me a great deal of leads with a decent success rate. The system is very easy to use, the tutorials are amazing, and Boomtown even does live trainings in larger cities you can attend to learn more about the features and functionality. The information in Boomtown is well organized and easy to edit.

    Cons

    Someitmes I feel like perhaps it is too robust. There are so many features and things it can do I get lost in trying to learn how to use or implement the new features and I constantly worry that there may be a feature that makes what I'm doing easier that I don't know about.

    The love the ability to log all of my follow up and set new to dos for myself. It all helps me stay on track daily and not forget about a follow up. I know it has gotten me many sales. I love that your able to set up your clients with searches, and can view what they are seeing and their activity on the site as well.

    I really like all areas of the site. I really cant think of anything. The only possible thing is sometime the leads put fake info just to see the listings

    I like the usability of this. The system has a ton of options and does a great job helping us stay on top of our clients. I like the search ability of the tags.

    Cons

    I would like to be able to update my website on my own time. Having to go back and forth with a rep is time consuming and sometimes its hard to get across what actually want it to look like.

    Capturing leads, the CRM is great, very useful and easy to use.

    Pros

    I used Cinc before, this blows it out of the water. Im glad that you can mass text now, Colorful and easy to navigate through.

    Cons

    I hate the multiple windows that pop up when you update something, I'll have five or six boomtown windows open once im done updating.

    Lead routing, accountability, auto drips, auto texts, alerts, tasking, syncing with Google calendar.

    Cons

    The mobile app is terrible if we're being honest. It doesn't allow to see all the leads that are accessible, cannot change statuses, etc.

    All in all this software is truly a lifesaver. I honestly would not be able to keep up with my clients and their information if it was not for this program.

    Pros

    It is very easy to use. Like most programs it does take some time to understand all the ends and outs of a program, but once you get the hang of it it comes very easily.

    Cons

    Having to log out because your toggle bar doesn't want to show up. There are quite a few glitches as well that occur more often than they should. However, it does not take up a ton of time to log out and log back in. It is more of an inconvenience.

    the customer service is a little shady.
    I had a problem with my account one day. I don't remember what is was. I believe it was in regards of my app. The customer service agent needed my password to help me. I would think there is another way to verify who I am. I didn't feel comfortable handing over my password so I waited. It took a while but eventually the app updated and my issue was fixed.

    Easy lead follow up

    Pros

    When used properly, the CRM helps agents follow up and makes sure leads don't slip through the cracks. As a sales manager, it has amazing reporting capabilities that allow me to make sure our agents are utilizing the system properly.

    The inability to customize many features. While you can create custom content pages on your own with basic HTML, many functions cannot be altered or customized.

    I love how easy it is to manage leads, not only my own, but the rest of the teams. I also love being able to add plans for our transactions as well. Staying in touch with everyone has never been as easy!

    They are always working to improve Boomtown and they have fixed a lot of the things I think could be better, the only thing I am hoping to have soon is the group texting ability, for example if we had a husband and wife.

    Ease of use and organization. Aesthetically pleasing, easy to use on all platforms, frequent tutorials and walk throughs offered by the staff, a lot of creative resources to track your progress. Mobile site is pretty smooth

    Cons

    No major complaints to be honest. I have ran into some inconveniences when trying to open a Boomtown link and sometimes it will open up a link signing me in as someone else which then tracks the leads activity as their own even though it was my activity. Such as when I am trying to view their search quickly and review what I am sending them. Other times after I have prompted the system to remember me every time, it makes me log in consecutive times when I am just trying to review something quickly. That can be pretty annoying and inconvenient. Sorry if I didn't explain it correctly

    its very easy and it doesn't let you not log activites. I like that I can set reminders and and auto emails .

    Cons

    mobile app needs more features & I don't like that auto emails don't show up in conversations tab. it makes it difficult when boomtown leads call me in regards to an email they've received from me but I cant see because I didn't actually type it, it was an auto email from a drip campaign

    The ease of use and the way it allows me to track communication with my sphere and leads. I don't have to do anything other than click a few buttons and it tracks every conversation.

    The only thing that is frustrating is that the app doesn't show as much information as the software version does, but that is to be expected.

    Easy to use. Categorization, automation, tags, e-alerts, admin tools, optimization...my agents love it!

    Cons

    This one is a struggle for me. There is not much I don't like about BT. I would say that the thing I like least is the mobile version...thats not very easy to use nor offers the same as desktop...when we are on the go all the time its a little frustrating that we can't easily use it on our phone....especially as the team leader/ Admin.
