CDC Software’s Pivotal CRM is a flexible, customizable customer relationship management (CRM) solution designed to reduce the learning curve and increase the speed of user adoption. It includes marketing automation, lead management, sales force automation, customer service and contact center as core modules, and also supports online self-service and partner management modules, social CRM, application workflow management and data management.

Industry-specific versions of Pivotal CRM are available for home building and real estate, as well as financial services—including versions for capital markets, institutional asset management, mutual fund wholesaling, commercial banking and private banking/wealth management. The system is also used by many in the health care and medical devices, insurance, nonprofit and association and manufacturing industries.

Pivotal CRM is well-suited for Microsoft-based organizations: Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint are embedded within the system, and it is designed to integrate with the Microsoft Office suite. It is used by more than 1800 companies worldwide.
