What would we do without CRM?
The customer service team is the star of show when it comes to CRM - the tool is awesome and works great but the team that supports us [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is next level. They are constantly working to help us achieve success in whatever we are looking for or are needing and have always treated us as a priority.
PROSBeing able to have a live view of the team's pipeline has been such a valuable resource for our team - we are frequently asked for this type of information which is easily reportable from the tool. Additionally it has been a great resource for our team to share information, house important documents, track and measure success of initiatives i.e. SKU rationalization or Culinary Events.
CONSWe do have some struggles with there being different ways to enter information and how that translates into reporting. For the most part we have been able to close the loopholes but sales tends to always find a way.

Sales Enablement review
Overall experience is a positive one. From learning about the tool and being trained by my Sales Enablement representatives to launching the tool to our sales team it was a great experience. The team is always there to answer questions and if we have any recommendations they bring this to their IT team to see if update can be made.
PROSHow easy this tool is for our sales team to send documents or product specs to customers in seconds. Or update a sales interaction by using the voice to text option while using the app. I think it's a great pre-planning tool that can benefit our sales organization.
CONSThere are certain functions that I believe could be worked and updated a bit to be more user-friendly. More so the opportunity/pipeline feature.

We were using the product catalog and document library side of Sales Enablement and it made sense to go forward using a CRM Tool that was tied to this software we were already using rather than launching an entirely new tool to our team.

Great hub of customer information that we can parcel through and look for additional opportunities.
PROSI like the product library and customer information. Yes, it was fairly easy to implement.
CONSA business plan tool that demonstrates pipeline opportunities would be a nice addition.

Easy to use and navigate CRM
Overall, the system has worked well for our business as an agency, as well as being the master database for all agencies together. It has given us a platform where we all can be connected as one.
PROSThe user interface is simple, straight forward and easy to use, as well as teach to new users. The support from our broker solution managers is great, they are always willing to help and provide solutions to our problems/questions.
CONSIn the report center, I wish there were examples of what the reports looked like or what they would be used for. Some of the report titles are vague, and with a little more description it may be easier to navigate which report to run for the correct result.

The ability to manage our own database, the interface of the CRM, the progressive thinking of FSE, and the ability to expand as we grew.

Idahoan Review
Business problems solved include: 1. One place to keep all customer and product data 2. Automation of when agreements are going to expire.
PROSWhat I most like is that there is a Mobile App and a Desktop function.
CONSMost reports require a bit a excel cleanup to make them more usable.

Sales Enablement Review
I have great things to say about FSE and the staffs continued efforts to adapt and meet the needs of our company. They are very willing to help us create/enhance tools to ensure our teams are best suited to get the information and tools they need to perform their best.
PROSThe adaptability and continued efforts to enhance the software. I appreciate that this company is willing to work with us to enhance the system and sometime perform custom requests to fit the needs of our company. I like that the system is fairly easy to navigate and has access to most things all in one place.
CONSThe speed of some things within the system. Sometimes navigation is slow from page to page. Reports sometimes clash and take very long to run. If lots of people are pulling reports we run into issues. Some reports that are needed are very large. This causes issues.

Great product!
Sales Enablement has been beneficial of having all of our information in one organized and efficient manner which is a great benefit to our company, as information is so important in today's environment. The reporting that we're able to pull from this software is a great asset to us, and has been for many, many years.
PROSThe features that I find most impactful are the objective planning/dashboard as the software makes it a simple process which doesn't take a lot of my time. FS1 is my favorite app/feature that's offered by Sales Enablement, and is utilized by our team on a daily basis.
CONSThe only thing that I'd like to see, and it's minor but I'd like to the menu already expanded when we bring up the homepage. Integration with other apps has been good.

User friendly.
Able to accurately track sales activity which allows for reporting to mnf and allows allows a look back at old sales activity to guide new activity.
PROSI like that there is an option for computer and phone. Allows for retrieval of data while on the road. the platform is overall is extremely user friendly and makes inputting info quick and easy.
CONSI believe the downfall will somewhat fall upon our internal administrator. Current system is missing some items from manufacturers which need to be added by internal admin and CS at Blacksmith. Blacksmith doesn't know what we are missing until we tell them. Also another thing i noticed is manufacturers that we no longer represent still populate on FS1. This is not an inconvenience but though worth mentioning.

Customizable
The software has been integral to our success and the support througout has been nothing shy of amazing.
PROSThe software has many facets of information storage and usage. We were able to learn the basics of the system and work within the guidelines to make it work for us. I like that it is adaptable and we can grow further as our business needs change.

Customer Service is second to none. The 1FS app is a great tool.
CONSObjectives can be a little challenging. But once you start using them they can be helpful.

FSE - Sales Enablement Software
We are very happy with the software, and can't say enough good things about the team who supports us. The system has made our lean team more efficient and effective in our daily tasks. It really allows us to see information about our business quickly. There is a lot of customization areas and the team at Idahoan works will with the team at Blacksmith. We wouldn't be able to see the shape of our business so quickly without the software from FSE/Blacksmith.
PROSFull business system across CRM, Sales and Trade. I love the analyzers, our custom dashboards, and the interconnectedness of the system. It is easy to see where you are spending your money. Most of the canned reports work well. I also like how the FSE/Blacksmith team is always finding new ways to help their clients.
CONSSome of the reports don't work well, and have to be formatted when exported to excel. Sometimes the reports have wrong information. Also, there are some areas in trade management that aren't user friendly. The fact that you can only see 200 deductions at a time is cumbersome, also, there is no report for "Open Deductions". Finally, the idea around Direct Ship Operator designation is nice, but has some pitfalls when actually using that function.

We chose FSE over Go Simple for CRM and after that, it was easy to know which TPM platform we wanted.
Reasons for switching to Blacksmith Sales Enablement
Adesso works well for our Retail business unit, but failed in terms of CRM and Operator level details crucial for Foodservice. Also, there are enhanced capabilities in trade that Adesso couldn't support, such as the auto-matching and clearing for EDI deductions. Adesso also contained no CRM or Sales tools.

This product makes your work day easier
We can now easily track orders, commissions and the CRM allows us to track the calls and information the sales team does.
PROSI like that the system is constantly being updated with new features and improvements. I love the import spreadsheets for the invoices, items and pricing. I use the invoice import sheet daily and it has made commissions a breeze. I also like that there are many ways to enter items on orders whether it is by a sku, GTIN, description. I like how each screen/tab can be adjusted to show the information you want to see and in the order you want to see it. Grid editing is also a great time saver.
CONSI wish the reporting portion of the CRM had a place where you could schedule a time for automated reports. Also it would be nice for the person who has reports scheduled to be able to see who received what reports. From my end it will just tell me that it sent it to my email but not the 2-3 other people that should receive it. I think it would be handy to know if the person didn't receive it due to an issue or they just missed it in their email. There needs to be more guides and instructions for employees to reference when having an issue/question. The old contacts in order management for manufacturers and distributors should be able to be removed or hidden if someone is no longer at a company. When importing an invoice and payment import worksheet there isn't an option for inactive manufacturers so they have to be reactivated each time.

FSE Odyssey
It captures about 90% of the required information and I make the rest of the platform work for me.
PROSI have been using this platform for over 10 years, both as a sales agency and a manufacturer sales rep. I feel that the platform is geared and more adaptable as a sale agency tool and does not offer needs in the field as a manufacture with tying the sales agency to the operator call this requires extra notes and look back as a reference
CONSThe FS1 tool requires too many steps to ensure the call is closed.

This was an excellent solution for our organization as it offers an easy solution for recording sales activity and target planning while at the same time offering advanced solutions to fulfill our clients needs. Worth a look for anyone wanting a full featured CRM solution.
PROSEasy to deploy with excellent support for both the users and administrators.
CONSReporting is the toughest part of the software to get everyone up to speed on. All the reports you need are there it just takes time to get them all structured properly.

Blackmith-Fully Involved
I like this software because I'm able to enter everything I need to manage my contracts and make notes so that I can refer to when there's a question. It eases my mind because I know that it's all complete and there when I need it.
CONSSome features are a little tricky and it takes a few times to figure out. It doesn't always seem as logical as I'd think it should. I don't have a good example to provide at the moment. I was not with the company when this was on-boarded but was relieved when I learned this software was used.

Overall I gave it a average score as the benefits of the system have been offset by the drawbacks.
PROSOverall it's relatively easy to use. The support team has been great. A lot of the features needed are already in place. There is some level of flexibility in terms of customization.
CONSThe software is very foodservice focus and thus implementing in a company that operates in both foodservice and retail has been a challenge. Although there some customization, I would have like to have seen more. It has been difficult to transition from our previous CRM to this one because of the way this software approaches tracking product opportunities. The interface is not as intuitive as it needs to be and there are a lot of nuances.

Organizing Information all in one area
We have had a several people retire and change roles, this tool has help provide an easy transition for new team members. The ability for operators to be targeted for quarters makes planning and following plans easy.
PROSBeing able to have all faculties', contact information as well as sale call progress has been great for our organization. Utilizing the features of having POS and technical information that easy to access and send to operators is time saving and an added bonus.
CONSThere have been "tweaks" along the way to make this system work for us. Our support staff has been awesome to add things, explain things and make it more efficient for our team.
