Pros/Cons
Pros
- Very easy to use, the software is intuitive and the layout is very clean. I really like the visualizatio of money raised/committed with the ability to put a % chance per investor.
- I love the user interface; it is self-explanatory and easy to use. I also love the customer service; they have always been there when I needed help with something.
- What I love is this is built for purpose and easily customisable to your needs. As well as this [SENSITIVE CONTENT] went out of his way to give me feedback on my pitch and deck and this was amazing.
Cons
- When filling out the investor reports, due to having a plugin (Gramarly), I often-times have to re-write sentences which is annoying.
- Inconsistent UX / can be confusing at times. Some features change behavior with generation updates... quirkiness.
- I say this knowing that the majority of users that will use Foundersuite are start-up entrepreneurs, and as such, I severely doubt there will be any missed value due to complacency.
Pros
- Very useful that the informaizons are taken from S&P Capital IQ, with the possibility of citing it among the sources. The ability to customize some data and simulate different scenarios is excellent.
- Valutico is an easy to use product with a good pricing point and great customer support.
- Able to get a range of values to allow management to better understand the investments they have made. This is a useful tool for decision making.
Cons
- Sharing of results quite difficult - poor integration with excel for financial modeling purposed.
- No NAICS code selection. Valuation methods which by any standard is unnaceptable.
- Plenty of transactions with no multiples. No capacity to change forecasting formulas or personalize financial models.
