  • Pros

  • Help Scout is very satisfying to use, it helps manage support tickets efficiently and integrates well with other tools such as Slack. We love it for all of these reasons.
  • This tool is very versatile and really snappy, I love how easy you can reply to incoming tickets and keep great analytics of it at the same time.
  • We're big on automation and building on top of our tools and have been very impressed both with the workflow capabilities as well as the API endpoints and integrations that are possible.
  • Cons

  • The lack of integrations. They just rolled out with a Salesforce integration, but lack integrations in other areas.
  • I hate its search because it is ridiculously stupid. You can't find what you need, keywords don't work etc.
  • When copying in a new email to an existing chain (or when the HelpScout email is adding to an existing chain), attachments are usually lost and have to be reattached.

  • As the manager of a customer service team, I appreciate HelpJuice's customer service so much. They are outstanding and answer any and all questions immediately.
  • Helpjuiced seemed to have the best offering to address all of our needs in a knowledge base tool. The ease of use, customizability and analytics where important factors in choosing Helpjuice.
  • So far so good, love our new help center and love the future I see using HelpJuice here at Pura.
  • Cons

  • Often this can be addressed directly in the code, but for many users something like formatting a block of text side-by-side with an image can be a struggle.
  • Difficult to export analytics data to other systems.
  • I accidentally discovered Helpjuice when I was searching for Zendesk alternative. Their website didn't promise a lot but I decided to register there.
