We built out Hubspot Sales Hub for an insurance client. The intent was to use the built-in tool. We ended up moving the client to a third party provider that had a more feature rich application

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Sales Hub is a feature rich tool that does a great job supporting the Sales process. The calling features, once configured, can be a powerful asset.

#### Cons

Configuration of telecommunications can be challenging, especially when other tools are in the mix. It can be done, but we have found that it can be challenging.

#### Reasons for choosing HubSpot Sales Hub

HubSpot has come a long way and is a premium product. The price difference between Sales Hub and Sales Cloud was significant. Standing up Sales Hub took about half the time and was a fraction of the cost.

If you are currently using excel or any other non CRM software to track your prospects, STOP. Switch to Hubspot! You won't be sorry.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I was previously using Excel to track prospects. It was working although it was VERY time consuming. Then I discovered Hubspot! Life has never been better! I have all my prospects in one place. I can track the correspondence I have with each prospect and set follow up reminders. It's all in one place and the history of the account is easy to review.

#### Cons

I use the free version, which does not include the email campaign feature which is a bummer. But you get a lot for the free version, including dashboards for pipeline evaluation, which is great.

We have been using hubspot sales for 2 years, and also promoted to other clients. Overall is a good experience with a lot of flexibility but it also takes time to built the system to work correctly for your business operations.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 3/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

All information you need in one platform, good for internal tasks, internal management and communication between the sales department.

#### Cons

Although it comes with an onboarding, you need to really become used to the system to understand it. And if the onboarding is not done with the companies working flow in mind, it can be a mess for months. It’s not the softwares fault but it can be difficult to use at the beginning.

#### Reasons for choosing HubSpot Sales Hub

Teamwork CRM will soon be decripted and we were not able to test it correctly. Also we do use a lot Of automations from hubspot so we do need a more capable software for automations and emails.

#### Reasons for switching to HubSpot Sales Hub

Active campaign was becoming too messing for a CRM, it was great as a lead capture (lead magnet strategy) but when it came to CRM we needed something more robust.

### Love Hubspot. It helped us grow

Overall, HubSpot Sales Hub has been a very useful CRM for structuring our sales operations. We use it to manage leads, track opportunities through the pipeline, organize follow-ups, and maintain visibility on sales performance. It becomes especially valuable when multiple people are involved in the sales process because responsibilities and next steps are much easier to track. The platform is powerful, although getting the most value from it requires investing some time in setting up the right workflows, automations, and reporting.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The biggest advantage is having the entire sales process centralized in one place. It gives our team clear visibility into leads, follow-ups, deal stages, and overall pipeline activity. The automation and reporting features are also very useful as the sales team grows.

#### Cons

The cost can increase pretty quickly as you add users and need more advanced features. There are also a lot of tools and customization options, so getting the platform configured properly for your specific sales process takes some time.

The seamless integration with marketing tools and automation features helps streamline the entire sales pipeline, making it easier to nurture leads and close deals faster.

#### Cons

While powerful, some of the more advanced features (like custom reporting and automation workflows) can have a learning curve and may require additional setup time. Additionally, costs can increase quickly as you scale or add premium features, which may be a consideration for growing teams.

Their customer service is no good to put it simply. Because of that and the high cost of their services when I need to grow and have more capability I will be looking elsewhere.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 2/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The features of HubSpot are nearly unmatched. You can do just about anything on their platform - for a price. But I'll get to that later. I use HubSpot for the CRM and emailing leads etc. and for that it is all free which is amazing. I couldn't be happier with the fact that I get this much capability for free. The fact that I can not only track if they opened the email but get a notification exactly when they opened it, how many times, and more is amazing. Also the ability to save 5 templates and getting automatic suggestions in my email builder is fantastic! I can also add a good size team all without having to pay anything. I also love the ability to switch between multiple companies very quickly, though doing that often times gives me an error page and I have to reload but thats not a big deal. Overall I am very happy with HubSpot but there have been some pretty big annoyances.

#### Cons

For me the customer service and big cost for paid options is a HUGE drawback. I just had an issue where all my emails were getting sent to spam but only if I sent them from Hubspot. I tried Mac mail, saleshandy, SalesBlink, FindThatLead etc. and it all worked just fine but when I sent from Hubspot - straight to spam. So I contacted them about it but kept getting sent to their sales team and all the sales team did was send me links to articles asking if I had tried this or that. They never offered any real help and when I asked to speak to technical support of course I had to be a paying customer, which I understand to a degree. But with something like this it was clear it was a Hubspot issue. So I took to the forums and found 4 different posts of people with the same problem and in each post Hubspot blamed it on the persons email not being secure and offered suggestions to make the email itself more trustworthy. However, myself and all these other people did not send big campaigns so there's no real reason our email addresses should be getting flagged as spam. So I figured out that when I turned on 2 factor authentication to sign into my Hubspot account the problem was completely fixed. So for me the second I need more capability for a bigger team I am going to be looking elsewhere because of their poor service and high prices.

#### Reasons for choosing HubSpot Sales Hub

I had been using Zendesk Sell since they were called Base. Because of that I do have a free account and honestly its an amazing platform and I love it. Used it for years! But once Zendesk acquired Base and turned it into Zendesk Sell a lot of the free options were no longer free such as teams/users. So thats really the only reason I switched to Hubspot was so I could add more users for free but once I need to have more capability Im switching back to Zendesk Sell.

#### Reasons for switching to HubSpot Sales Hub

Hubspot is free and Zendesk Sell isnt. Pretty much that simple.

This is a good product. If you're already using Hubspot you might've already been enjoying it. If you're not, you can try Hubspot Sales Hub and see how your sales take a real jump.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

First of all, it is important to know what is HubSpot Sales Hub. It is a HubSpot product that enables us to monitor the phases of our sales process, and assess which phase of the funnel our leads are in (a lead is a marketing jargon that means sales in this context). In other words, Hubspot sales hub is a sales metric tool to see where the sales optimizations are needed the most. The things that I particularly like with this product are: - The interface is actually smooth and intuitive. Once we click on the Sales tab located in the upper corner of the screen, we will see all of our transactions, our sales pipeline, and we can actually move the different transactions (meaning the sales) by just picking and dragging them around with the mouse. If we want more information about a transaction, we can just click on it and it will open a whole other window about this particular transaction with the customer’s pieces of information such as: The name, the contacts, and the number of tickets if there are any; - We can set organizational charts related to team projects, assign tasks among the members, organize meetings, and automate repetitive tasks; - We can measure the sales performance in the Report tab. Then, we should click on Dashboard to be able to display the different sales made in a defined period of time. The dashboard is customizable with different templates available.

#### Cons

Two things that can be improved: - It would be better to add a task reminder for the uncompleted tasks; - Different colors need to be added to automate our next action on a given deal/transaction; different colors with different interpretations about the required actions that must be taken. This will save us the time of having to click on the deals/transactions.

#### Reasons for switching to HubSpot Sales Hub

I needed user-friendly software the least complex possible.

From the sales process, to onboarding, to continued support and assistance - HubSpot has been excellent!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Many CRMs available, including SalesForce, are huge and complex. Most of the features are never implemented or require a tremendous amount of custom development to work for your organization/workflow. HubSpot provides what is needed with a lot of flexibility to customize it to your needs without requiring a huge development investment. Plus, it's just easier to use overall. Pricing is 1/3 of what we paid with SalesForce, and we have gained more efficiency because we are now using the same product as our marketing team. Information flows naturally between Marketing Hub and Sales Hub, providing better visibility and collaboration between the departments.

#### Cons

Nothing. It's a great tool that has been an excellent investment for us.

#### Reasons for switching to HubSpot Sales Hub

Price, features, ease of use, and integrations with other products.

Hubspot really gave our team a structured way of keeping our deals organized, and gave our leadership team a 30,000 level view of the deals that are in the pipeline. Concrete steps lead to concrete results.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like many things about hubspot. One of them is being able to schedule email outreach days and sometimes weeks in advance gives a lot of time back for the rest of the week. The reporting and analytics are also great because i have an easy way to track outreach numbers and the deals that are in the pipeline with their associated progress

#### Cons

One of my teammates schedules his email outreach, but has been experiencing issues with the emails actually going out.

#### Reasons for choosing HubSpot Sales Hub

Salesforce is built on plug-ins, so you will need to get other products that can integrate. Hubspot is a one-stop shop tool.

Really happy with Sales Hub - has quickly become indispensable to the team and really links in well with other hubs (particularly marketing) for an end-to-end view of the funnel

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Broad range of very useful features which combine to offer great sales tools - would say it's almost indispensable to our team now. Sequences do what they need to for outbound work, the meeting scheduler has plenty of options, the forecast tool is useful and things like the playbooks are extremely useful for guiding SDRs.

#### Cons

Would like more flexibility in some reporting and setup - for example, starting the forecast tool half-year instead of having to choose across the whole year. A few more automation options around sequences would be handy as well (and not stuck behind the enterprise license)

Overall, HubSpot has been easy to learn (Gen Z salesperson) and adjust to the needs of our team. The community and updates help smooth out what rough edges there are for such a big tool.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

It's simple and powerful. If you want to use it in a basic CRM way, it can do that. However it also has the capability for great reporting, email sequences, automation, and looping in others.

#### Cons

New updates can be hard to keep up with. A lot of time reporting is best when you use Hubspot the way they designed it. For example with Lead reporting, the functionality was clunky originally so my team built a different workflow. Now they've improved it, so I have to relearn and somewhat redesign our HS.

When it comes to preparing lists of new customers and sending compensation, the HubSpot Sales Hub has helped us to be more organized in all stages of our work. Keeping all those records in the cloud and organizing them in a unique way allows you to retrieve and import the data that you need at any time. Because of the information we've gotten from it, we've been able to come up with some of our best ideas yet for our company's future.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The HubSpot Sales Hub provides my team with a great deal of structure, as it can be used to distribute and track projects with the support of other team members, all of which can be done from a computer or via the mobile app. Classifying emails in this way allows you to see the status of emails sent to customers and those that have been received, as well as the settings for ready responses that are sent to customers, which is something I really appreciate. For example, you may simply plan all of your appointments and receive reports summarizing all of the events that have occurred over any period of time, which is both motivational and inspiring to keep all of your duties in progress. Due to its seamless connection with the rest of our workflow, it eliminates the need for us to manually enter the same information twice.

#### Cons

Despite the fact that the HubSpot Sales Hub is really well-organized and provides you and your team members with all the tools you need for a very reasonable membership price, it's difficult to think of anything negative to say about it. The user simply requires a few minutes of training before he can get the most out of it.
