Better bang for your buck

Great for contact management and keep in touch

PROS

Easy to use and customize. Mobile option is good for looking folks up.

CONS

Doesn't easily export to Command, I love the website but the extra cost to tie it into the IDX means I don't use it.

I also tried Wise Agent, Top Producer, Realty Juggler, and Buffini's Referral Maker. IxactContact and Referral Maker are the best for usability and customer support. Referral Maker is a lot more money and a lot less customizable. IxactContact is easy to use and all of the EEdge and Buffini plans can be created in the software as well as use their own smart contact and activity plans. And IxactContact integrates really well with social media for posting.

Great and easy to input information

Customer service has been very good, email newsletter has been very easy. input of prospecting or client contacts is very easy to do. Ease of use is great and I'm happy I made the move.

PROS

I love the ease of entry of clients data and information. allows easy access to see all of the important information on one page when I'm calling a client i.e. spousal, children, address, email and phone numbers. I don't have to go clicking on other pages to get this. This is main reason I move over to Ixact and I'm very happy I did

CONS

I'll like to see a page where I can see my transactions and potential transactions easily and with totals instead of having to create a report to see this

Reasons for switching to IXACT Contact

Hated how the monthly newsletter when to junk folders all the time so clients never saw my emails. Hated how on the first page of a client entry I could not see the spouses name, nor the childrens names, or address or email. I need and want that all on the first page so that my client feels that I remember all of this vital information.

Excellent Features, Poor Customer Service

This has been frustrating and expensive on my side and clearly Ixact is not prioritizing the issue. I dropped them from 2 stars to one since it's been a week since I last asked for help on a new round of deletions (after tech said the problem was fixed) and have not heard back. I’ve recommended Ixact to other brokers in my local association and now I’m publicly warning everyone away. It’s a shame – I’d think this would be an easy fix but I’m also thinking it’s not being looked at closely enough.

PROS

For how I run my business the Ixact Contact systems works very well. The ability to annotate client communications with prospecting updates is very nice and the "Keep in Touch Coach" lets me have reminders pop up at specific intervals for specific clients depending on how often I want to be in touch. The ability to customize "Activity Plans" to track transactions or client interactions is also very useful.

CONS

Starting this past summer Ixact has been deleting my contacts randomly and for no apparent reason. Since Ixact syncs with my Google Contacts it’s deleting them in Google, too. One day I have a contact in my phone or Gmail system and the next I don’t. I’ve spent hours talking with various Ixact tech people and no fix is working. They even suggested it was something on my side – possible but highly unlikely - and they’ve also said things that make it clear others have this same issue. I manage my tech well and the deletions are very specific to Ixact. I’ve asked Ixact tech to review logs and show me what’s happening but they’ve not done so. As a result, I’ve also spent many hours rebuilding my Gmail/Google contacts so I can function normally. I’ve stopped the sync between Ixact and Google now permanently to stop the problem, but that means I need to double enter contacts if I want them in both systems.

CRM for Realtors

I had an old CRM that wasn't designed specifically for real estate transactions. I spent a lot of time developing timelines and email templates. Now, I can enter a lead into Ixact Contact and have them assigned to a drip campaign or follow up in the matter of seconds instead of ten minutes. Things are streamlined and moving better now a days.

PROS

There are many features that are designed specifically for real estate; e-mail drip campaigns, transaction timelines, e-mail templates, etc. I don't have to spend time creating content as it is already at my fingertips.

CONS

The mobile app could be better. It is clunky to maneuver and could look more like the computer interface.

Time management saver

For me and my business it’s the best fit!

PROS

Love the monthly news letter. Great Canadian content. Love the ease to customize monthly or just let it go out.

CONS

Anything I didn’t like I suggested as ideas for upgrades. They have implemented changes.

Best CRM and Touch Product on the Market

Fantastic Investment

PROS

This CRM has all the features needed to stay in touch with your current, past and future clients. Its easy to learn and highly effective. It doesn't over task you for functions not necessary for Rain Maker. You can goal track, track you income and future income opportunities with easy. I highly recommend you implement this CRM as soon as you get into the business.

CONS

There are still functions that I'm not using, so that's my fault not your fault.

Great CRM

This CRM is the best I've ever used. And I've gone through a few that I was never really happy with. This CRM is easy to use and keeps me on task.

PROS

This product is easy to use. The mobile option makes this great for keeping up with my tasks while on the road.

CONS

Some features that you can get on your desktop version are not currently available on mobile version. Setting KIT's or Activity plans for example.

CRM FOR REAL ESTATE AGENTS

We have used it for several years and like the updates that have been made and ease of overall use.

PROS

It is easy to set up and use on most platforms. The newlsetter is a lead generator. task reminders arecrucial to my business and Ixact performs well in this area.

CONS

finding information can be slow and the app and computer screens are somewhat different.

Does the job!

It's great, I hope they continue to develop features on easy usage and more campaign marketing. Also social media options.

PROS

Data base is easy to use and I can upload excel spreadsheets. Duplicates can be managed as well. Next I will be purchasing the IDX website service.

CONS

Wish customer service would help navigate questions better with walking us through issues. Need to add more newsletter options the header options are limited and not very modern, too big. Needs more client touch options.

Top Producer was not doing newsletters and material for drip campaigns was getting dated. They were also very expense.

Average CRM Program

Overall, it's an average program for CRM and database management. Some people I know like it but some don't. I think it depends on the user. It was relatively affordable so good for someone who likes something that has the functions and that's relatively inexpensive.

PROS

I used to use this program for my CRM, but I found that it was very technical and aesthetically boring. It had some decent features like sending out monthly newsletters and newsletter templates and such and I could edit client profiles and it would set up reminders and such.

CONS

It had a bunch of functions that I didn't really use and the user interface was a bit complicated and not that easy to use. Takes some time to build proficiency in the program.

Positives & Room for improvement-IXACT.

Overall, IXACT is a great program for staying organized, they offer great ways of organizing contacts. The keep in touch coach is a good automated reminder to touch base with clients. Lastly, the task list is also helpful with being organized.

PROS

Things that are useful for IXACT are Task list, Monthly newsletter, Keep in touch coach, Website, Social stream and keeping contacts organized.

CONS

The website is difficult to use and set up, I called multiple times for assistance. It would be helpful if basic steps were in the tutorial. Also, there should be a system put in place that keeps track of leads, and how many people are going to the website (traffic counter) to see of social stream and the use of the website is actually helpful. IXACT offers both the agent website and social stream, there should be something that generates a report. Lastly, the goal setting is easy to set up, but better instruction needs to be in place for updating those goals easily.

Ixact Contact Revew

They have always been very responive to my support requests and the product meets my needs.

PROS

I worked in IT sales for 21+ years and depend highly on my CRM system to help keep me organized and on track. I switched to Real Estate about 5+ years ago. My brokerage had a CRM system they provided but support was too slow to respond. Ixact Contact has terrific support, strong features, designed specifically for Real Estate and allowed me to customize a lot of what I wanted to do.

CONS

The marketing solutions are like many of these systems very canned/scripted.

IXACT Contact Hits the Spot

I like some of it and hope to see improvement on other parts.

PROS

The monthly newsletter is worth every penny I spend for the entire month on this product. Keeping top of mind via the monthly newsletter and tracking who opens the email is invaluable.

CONS

It needs a facelift. It could be more playful, colorful, visual. The fonts are small and tedious. Also, the videos are dry. I feel like I am back in high school in the 80's in a driver's ed class.

All my needs served in this one stop shop!

IXACT has given me accountability in my business. I am able to see at a glance my activity as far as drip campaigns, what leads I have been able to turn around and in what time. It has helped me work more efficiently and see clearly the parts of my business that I need to improve on.

PROS

I enjoy being able to send myself scheduled task reminders as it is has saved me on follow ups and appointments (and countless post its). I also enjoy being able to log my interactions with my contacts on a page that has preset fields. I'm able to economize on time by not having to type in detail every single thing that occurred because the fields already provide a drop down to enter specific information. The personal website is also a major plus as it is professional looking and usually a separate expense.

CONS

I don't have anything negative to say about this software. A few days of navigating the different capabilities and you will never go back another CRM service ever.

Mass Offset of reminder. This I'm asking for almost 3 years now. There is no practice of creating a Ticket if you make query. They just hear on the phone and email then flush it out. Search option on the Trash box, no. There is no option to add a lease transaction. Over all, you are so out dated, beside actively asking for referral. Referral is a result of satisfaction.

Great product

Just love the product and have recommended it to many agents over the years to use.As it is easy to access the features.

PROS

Very easy to use, keeps me infant of my clients and I don't have to spend a lot of time doing it. Great value for the money as I have used other software that didn't do as much.

I don't have a website connected to it which would make my life easier.

Very good customer service. Could use a platform update to navigate and user experience

PROS

Relatively easy to use and navigate and stores all my contacts in a orderly fashion.

CONS

I would prefer some more updated marketing materials for my "keep in touch" portion of contact database management. Some of the scripts for auto emails and letters is a little dated and could use a refresh.

I like the market segmentation. The Unlimited "Contact Groups" is helpful.

CONS

It's a bit clunky, but the the support team is easy to access. Like anything, you learn to use it, take notes if required, then use it.

IXACT In A Nutshell

Overall I am able to maintain my database with IXACT in an easy and helpful way. I can reach out to them via mass mail and update their information easily.

PROS

The software is user friendly to a point...the entering of contacts is easy and full of great fields. The ability to update information and complete mass mailings, labels, etc. is great.

CONS

Recording transactions is not user friendly - very confusing even after tutorials. Would be great to also keep business contacts completely separate from client contacts.

Super Easy to Use

I have learned it and know how to use for my personal business and for that I love it.

PROS

I love the Auto Email Templates and the user friendly tools to set up clients on specific campaigns depending on their interests.

CONS

When editing some of the templates it creates a new one and deletes the original, whereby if you wanted to customize it for someone in particular it would create a new template that would need to be edited again and again

My overall experience has been amazing so far and a real time saver.

PROS

Needed a CRM to keep track of my leads and this fit the bill. I especially like the monthly newsletter to keep in touch with customers. The mass email feature is also a great advantage.

CONS

The only thing that I would love to be able to do is scroll between contacts in the tabbed section. For example go directly from one contact to another on the Activity/History tab.
